Updated Sept 2025. Got severe back spams so tried to get an ambulance hoping they would pump me full of morphine or something. The 999 put me through to the dreaded 111 whose raison d'etra seems to be to prevent sending an ambulace at all cost. Instead they said they would send a prescription to my pharmacy within a few hours. However it was a weekend, pharmacy closed, and they didnt get the prescription til the Monday - weekend spent in agony, crying out in pain. Cross got the meds delivered to my house as unable to drive.

On a less serious note, I went swimming with my granchildren and promptly went deaf in one ear. Cross sorted it out with their (I think newish) gentle hoovering out service, Result - hearing fully restored.

Update July 2023 - a lot of new faces and they are still excellent - clearly they are very busy making up all the prescriptions. My surgery cancelled my repeat without notice and when I eventually sorted it out, they made it up in record time - Big Thanks to you all.

My 2 year old had his chickenpox vaccine here. The pharmacy team were so great - my little one was quite unsettled and as I’d forgotten anything to distract him, they gave us toy cars, put Peppa Pig on their laptop and stickers for him and my eldest son. They were extremely kind and caring. Would highly recommend.
