I came into the pharmacy a few weeks ago. It was busy, I waited patiently by the pharmacy pick-up booth on the right for quite some time (where I normally go and have never been told otherwise, to stand at the till side?) Then someone said ''who's next?'' and I said that I was, but there was a clump of people at the cashier desk and I was told ''this is the front of the queue''. I assumed they were all together, and paying at that point and it looked as if that was what was happening. It would've been ok if they hadn't left me standing waiting and ignoring me all that time, but not to have had any acknowledgement then tell me I was standing in the wrong place was just unprofessional. I understand it was busy however I'd dragged my way across town with a heavy bag in order to pick it up in time. Anyway I had to leave without my prescription as I had to be somewhere and couldn't wait any longer. The next day I was prompted again by text to pick up, so I asked my partner to collect the medication as I was not available to do so. He told me that they had asked him why I was on Universal Credit - confidential information - and said he had to wait around while they gave him the third degree/were very rude. NOT happy. I will be looking to use another pharmacy in future, which is regrettable as it has been great up until now.

Called ahead to confirm my prescriptions were there and told them my partner would pick them up. When my partner went to pick them up they said one was not there until tomorrow even though we called a hour earlier and confirmed It was there. I also know it’s there because they read the proper drug name off the label to me on the phone, so this is just carelessness. We just moved and were a 40 minute walk away, we don’t drive so if we need to go back it would be paying for another taxi there and back. It’s just an incredibly lack of diligence and their line is constantly busy so I’m not even getting through to speak to someone. I really needed my regular medication and I’m dealing with an infection as well and this level of carelessness is just completely inappropriate for a pharmacy.

Utterly awful. Failed to notify me my meds were available and then they weren't there when I went in.

One of the managers has to be the rudest and sour in attitude which is in contrast to the other one whom is quite nice

Either way I'm changing my nominated pharmacist to boots

Shocking.
Rude, condescending and obnoxious. Disgusted by the behaviour of the two people I had the misfortune of dealing with. One seems to be the person in charge, so it isn't a surprise when some of the staff are rude too.

I have, genuinely, never come cross such behaviour in any place I have ever went to.

No wonder they have such a low rating.

Plenty of pharmacies are close by, with polite and civilised people working in them.

At the very least, those people need to learn how to speak to customers in a way that resembles civility.

They sent an automated response to the review. If they are really interested in improving things, and in fact want to receive a follow up detailing the bad experience I had encountered, then one would presume a personalised response would've been posted.

They cared for my terminally ill father with such passion and care. Thanks so much to the whole team. Super efficient and helpful. Special thanks to the manager for her kind words when I returned my father medicine for disposal. You were all there for us during a very difficult time. Will continue to use you for my own medication. Thanks again.

Been using their service for many years now. Always a positive experience. The new text messaging service is good and staff are friendly. My wife has transferred here now too. One of the best in Oxford
