I had a really bad ankle sprain that i could not even wear a shoe because of how swollen it was, when i went there they said we need to appoint you and come back another day, this happened for almost 2 weeks, and when i finally went inside he said, "if i seen it earlyer i would say the bone was broken, but it seems fine" that was literally it! It took me almost half a year to heal by myself they just told me to go to a doctor and that doctor told me to come back here, i healed alone

I wish I could put zero stars.
Careless behavior to any emergency conditions when called for a prescription when it's affecting very badly physically to a person. They ask to call for an appoinment next day. The people who attends the call never cared about anything.
So sad and hurt to see such kind of behaviour that I am facing when one is sick from the people who are the one's that could really help us in sick conditions. I even wonder why these are even for then.

I cannot recommend Dr. Johnston enough - he had a thorough look and listened to my problem with attentiveness, prescribed me antibiotics which helped get rid of my infection within a week and even went the extra mile to call an ENT specialist to see if something else should be done and called me back just a few hours after I left the surgery. Great experience!

The GP service is terrible.

I had a knee injury in September. The GP told me it is MCL, a Mild injury. After four months, they are telling me that it is ACL (high-grade injury). The report says it is an unexpected significant finding (meaning misdiagnosis). The most terrible part about this is, they haven't told me what should and what I should do now, what sort of precautions I should take in my day-to-day lifestyle, etc. I was communicated about this on a 5 minutes phone call. The GP did refer me to an Ortho, but god knows how long is the waiting time and what are the things I should do until then to keep my leg safe.

I also had a pretty bad experience when I approached them with my mental health problem. When I first discussed my mental health issue, they gave me an hour of the appointment. I stepped in and started talking about my mental health after giving myself a lot of courage. But then towards half through the appointment, the GP suggested, I come back the next day. When I showed up the next day, the GP told me that he thought he gave me a phone appointment and he forgot that he requested me to bring him back a filled form (screening test). Then, I had to explain him again everything and then he just told me, I have two issues. For one of the issues, he would just suggest me some tablets, but at least according to the latest NHS advice I should've been referred to the counselling first before the pills. Regarding the second problem, according to the advice on the screening form, I must be referred to a specialist. But, he simply denied referring me to the specialist because the waiting time is three years. He just told me there is no point in referring you to the specialist now due to such a long waiting time. Finally, I asked him this question for which he didn't give me an answer. I asked him, "I told you I have two problems. You suggested pills for the one problem and you told me there is no solution for the second problem because of the lack of medical support. In this case, is it possible to solve problem 1 with pills without treating problem 2? is it even possible to cure problem 1 completely without even treating problem 2?" He had no answer, but he still thinks it is a good idea to suggest me pills for 6 months which has potential side effects.

Definitely a one star because the receptionist thinks she is the Doctor. Even after saying I was ill for some time she is saying that it's nothing serious and wanted me to drink fluids and get rest, as if I didn't already know that. It's pathetic to see when a person doesn't do their job properly.

absolutely useless. Any issues and you’re told to go to the walk-in centre elsewhere. They won’t let you link them as your gp practice, they tell you to go online and the system won’t let you select them. What kind of option is this for students ? So ignorant.

I called for an emergency appointment at 8am, was supposed to be arranged a phone call with the nurse for 4:10pm. But they didn’t call me back. Poor arrangement and attitude. Won’t trust the university medical center anymore.
