The attitude of some of the staff in this shop is absolutely astonishing i worked in this store years ago and it was always a happy place shelfs was always filled work and customers always was our main priority sadly in the last few years this store my local has gone down hill the sloppy assistant behind the tills at night time shoves money back at you dont ask if you have co op card which I believe is important as assistant behind tills served with manners and smile and a thankyou none of this happens only when I commented on her mannerism and was walking away I got a sarcastic thankyou. Night staff hygiene also someone has to mention countless of times I've walked in the store and smells of body odor which is not nice Especially for a food shop again down to sloppy staff day time staff are great never had a problem with them But night shift staff sorry bad manners and not hygienic No effort made what so everive let it go a good 3 4 times but tonight enough was enough so leaving my review on my experiences as my local will now avoid night time if I can.

The manager was so rude to me. And all the time(everytime) he is so serious. If he is not happy to work there then its better to find outher job.Probably he is 55 years old.

Gone down hill so much. Nothing on any shelves. No carrier bags. Coffee machine has worked once at 6am since had it. Loaf of bread 3wks out of date .green and stinky. Yoghurt drink 10days out of date. Not acceptable. Staff moan constantly but don't blame them. Gary 4yrs ago well the shop was always stocked. Sick of dodgy cardboard boxes. Not being asked for my co-op card. Having shopping packed into a flower bag. What's going on. No fresh bread. Cook more. You sell more.Everyone coughing and sneezing on it. Always a queue. Where's the management.

Excellent friendly staff who are good at keeping the queues at the tills short, helpful small post office and extended opening hours even on Sundays and Bank holidays.

Always fully stocked,great range of foods,newspapers,magazines too. Theres a post office at the back with ATM machine.
