They've made getting an appointment such a chore that I don't even bother anymore.

I would literally rather just suffer than deal with the song and dance of having to call at 8AM (only time you can call apparently), then either being being put into a 10+ person queue or worse yet having to listen to a 3 minute long voice message just to be told the line is full and the call hanging up. Then if you do even get through it's just a triage system now and usually the most you'll get is a phone appointment which is way more difficult to explain your condition, show symptoms etc.

The alternative to this is using the NHS app to book an appointment, where you can choose from 1 appointment in a month's time, giving you an extra waiting time of a month to suffer.

I know the NHS is apparently suffering at the moment but idk this all seems a bit nuts to me that people would rather just suffer than go through the effort of trying to get an appointment

Staff are polite and doctors are helpful though (if you actually get a chance to interact with them)

The worst GP surgery I have ever dealt with! Awful system to even try to get an appointment as the phone line will just cut you off once the automated message has gone through despite calling at exactly 8am! 4th day in a ow teying to get through

Since joining other surgeries the care has plummeted. My partner was wrongly diagnosed many times before dying from terminal cancer after being told he only had a mild ailment. Blood tests I have had done have been incorrect, wait times are insane and if you now want to speak to a Dr then good luck. The nurses have all been lovely and understanding but being put on a triage list then either not getting a call at all or getting a nurse who then has to arrange for a DR to call you back another day is just not acceptable. Collington was once the best surgery in Bexhill yet it has suffered greatly. I hope things will change in the future.

Receptionist was kind enough. The Docter though, after challenging him on his diagnosis (he asked me a handful of questions to tell me i have a bad back) he asks me if I'm telling him how to do his job. If the issue was my back I would not have wasted my own time to go there. DJ Warden was just rude and seemed like he couldn't wait to get me out. Waited a week for the appointment for a problem that has been going on numerous months to be palmed off within 2 minutes of walking through the door.Is only when I told him I want to see someone else he booked me in f9r blood tests. Absolute joke

Absolutely awful. No empathy at all. My poor old nan is 95 and I live miles away in London, my parents live in Spain. My nans been so poorly for a long time with a urine infection. It’s knocked her for 6, after weeks of chasing and nobody answering the phone when they finally do, we had to beg for them to help. My nans gone a bit mad with her age and this urine infection they knock on the door, she sends them away and they say that’s all they can do. She was given antibiotics but this didn’t work, after chasing and chasing and chasing they give her more antibiotics, still hasn’t worked. A few days ago the carers found my nan unresponsive. She’s got a sever urine infection, kidney damage and severe dehydration. My mum has been through hell and back just trying to get someone here to help and it’s been a nightmare. My poor old nan made it this far and this is the treatment she gets. A care plan should have been put in place for her. It’s disgraceful.

The service is crumbling in many ways, gone are days of seeing a DR or having a regular known DR, most are locums. Your doing well to actually speak to anyone( a receptionist)let alone a Dr. When you do speak to a Dr, I don't
feel like person( taken care of properly), not even the basics like blood pressure checks are offered and non exsistant follow up . I would like to say this is obviously a result of the overall pressure on the NHS, as Ive witnessed this sevice greatly suffer over the last year. .

I met Dr Nina yesterday.
What a kind and caring person.
I had a face to face appointment after a phone call.
She was very attentive and actually listened to me. I was very grateful for her kindness and professionalism.
I would also add that in my opinion the surgery has tried its best over the last two years to accommodate its patients despite very difficult circumstances.
I know that sometimes it’s a faff to get through on the phone and that can be frustrating but worth the effort.
Thank you all including receptionists and practice nurses.
