What a great alternative to Weston General A&E. Had to bring my husband with a head wound yesterday afternoon. They were quite busy but we were warmly greeted and checked in by the receptionist. Came here on Sunday 16 Feb from Portishead after an accidental fall (hurrying after my dog after I dropped her lead!) at Ashton Court and suspected wrist fracture. Arrived at 11.20am, triaged at 11.45am, x-ray at 12.10pm, results and cast on at 2pm.
Friendly and attentive staff. Nice clean waiting room and facilities.

I damaged my foot when standing up from a chair. The pain became quite severe over the following week so I attended the facility for some treatment and advice. The service I received from the front house team was exemplary. From the professional approach to the general banter they really do care about their patients welfare. They are a credit to the NHS. I only hope the management appreciate and value these people as much as I do. My advice, as a patient, would be to visit as early in the day as you can to avoid long delays caused by demand. Also for people to be aware this unit is for minor injuries and not general coughs and colds. Well done team!

Went for an ultrasound with Miles for gynaecology and he was so good. He gave me loads of context, was really thorough and I felt empowered and informed. His bedside manner is impeccable and he’s a consummate professional.

Why if you have gone home at 4pm in Outpatients and make people think they can still ring you ..
It’s says 4.30 pm so you keep disconnecting the phone it says because you busy ..
So ring Minor Injuries and you finish at 4pm ..
No one cares .
Waited for a telephone call at 11 am rang them and told it would be 4.10 pm sat by my phone and rings once ..
Unable to return the call because no available number .
No voice mail left ..
I waited weeks for a call because we can’t have appointments …
Really poor service and they just tend to chuckle and say it’s not my problem ..
Management stop wasting peoples time and sort it out ..

Excellent experience really friendly Radiolgy staff. The staff apologised many times for a 10 minute delay due to a power cut that morning. Overall an excellent experience. Free car parking as well shame the coffee shop was not open.

Awful staff.
More interested in making you wait and not even bothering to look concerned when you complain about pain. Tie that in with 'we cant help you, try the pharmacy across the road'.
Would rather have a paid service than these overpaid staff that do nothing.
