Hi last week after several attempts to get a doctors appointment and failed. I went to Clayfields chemist in Hoghton, I spoke to the pharmacist who advised me to try a feral from the chemist I agreed. I went home feeling a least something was being done, after a telephone call from the pharmacist I didn’t meet the criteria for a short term anitibiotic prescription. He then suggest a telephone consultation plus numerous other over the counter products.
They did everything possible to help me including the ladies in the chemist, thank you again for excellent service.

Got told I’d need a prescription for a basic over the counter multi vitamin, which is the first time I’ve ever heard that from anywhere. Used to buy them from here a couple years ago because they were cheapest from this chemist. Just bought it from Asda instead.

All of the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.
I recently went in for some cough medicine and was asked about my symptoms. On describing them I was advised to go to my doctors as they suspected I had a chest infection which was correct.
I am very lucky to have such a fantastic chemist on my doorstep and would highly recommend them.
