Lucjan is an amazing nurse. Always there to listen and give you support, plus he takes blood tests like a pro. I don’t know what people are complaining about, but I never had any issue with this practice. Me, my husband and my children have been looked after and given medical treatment when needed. Of course I needed to wait, but the care was given correctly and efficiently in the end. Thank you for doing your jobs responsibly.

Right now Its 10:28 am 23 September, 2024.
This morning I called at 8:52 am and just as usual press 1 while they saying they will call back if I press 1. However I got the call at 10:07 and the lady was apparently Rude She just started “ we don have any appointment for today- You can go to pharmacy, She added. Or you can call back tomorrow “. I just want to know did I call today at evening ?
Very unfortunately Before I Explain my difficulties she suggested me for pharmacy while I have been having medicine since last two weeks from pharmacist, I got severe allergic reaction and I don know should I do.. as an immigrant now I am to pay £1013 pounds per year NHS FEE And getting this worst service, its just awful having this service from any medical related problem?.. I hope I will never call this GP.. Have a good Day all the rude staffs…. -5 stars

The worst! Receptionists are lazy at their job, lost my notes about being asthmatic - and clinical doctor took my symptoms (shortness of breathe, wheezing and chest pain) told me he would call me back and didn’t!! Absolutely shocked. How can you call yourself a doctor when a patient is telling you they’re struggling and you just ignored it. I only asked for a bloody asthma pump! It’s not coming out your freaking pocket!

I see many complaints about telephoning the surgery to make appointments and after today I feel I need to vent and share.
I was expecting a call from the GP at 14.40, at 15.05 I had not received my expected call. So I called the surgery on the appointment line, told I was number 17 in the queue and would get a call back. But 14.20 my GP had called. The issue was not with the doctors so that I cannot complain about other than waiting 40 minutes on my call.
At 17.05 I received a message from the surgery asking if I still need my call. This was two hours after I had initially called and was #17 in the queue. Are you telling me it took two hours for the quiet to go from 17 to 1?
This is absolutely ludicrous
Last week I had a similar issue when I called the appointment line. Was told I was #16 in the queue and almost one hour and 45 minutes later I received a call back. I asked if I could make an appointment and told there were none, but I had to call back next day at 8am.
What is the point of having a dedicated appointment line in use, that when you call and finally get through on this line, there are no appointments What is the reason for this?
I have been told the surgery has a new system and there may be issues with it, but to keep your patients waiting almost two hours on the phone is absolutely rediculous
My one star is based on my interaction today regarding the appointments system or rather lack of it
I have been a patient for around 25 years and on the whole the treatment I have received is exemplary. Lucian is a great asset to the surgery if I have to signal anyone
But your appointment systems absolutely sucks for want of a better word!!!!!!

If you are looking for a new GP in the area, please do not go to this one.
The call wait times are extremely long, the process to get seen to takes even longer.
They are unsympathetic and more often than not rush you when you speak with them about the issues you’re concerned about.
I just had an unpleasant conversation with Dr Justin Reid who, I assume, is a locum doctor as he is not a regular doctor at the practice.
I asked for a referral to be diagnosed with dyspraxia, and was constantly interrupted and then told I have to call the reception back to make a face-to-face appointment. I also asked for a blood test as I have not received one in a long while, for a general check up to make sure everything is okay. He said if you’re healthy we don’t do that.
What is the point of having the NHS, a FREE service paid through our taxes? I would like to make sure I am okay, and make sure there is nothing wrong.
This GP practice is not functional in any shape or form. It takes days or even weeks to ask for a piece of paper or referral and often the staff are rude (not all but some).
I have also noticed the way doctors/staff speak to people who do not have English as a first language. More so with distain and frustration, and so not doing their duty to providing healthcare for all.
This practice needs to be rebuilt from the ground up and every single person needs to “retrained” on their empathy skills.
A word of advice: Please do not go into the medical profession if you do not like helping people or get frustrated when people come to you for help. It’s very simple.

Extremely disappointing and unacceptable GP practice. I rarely need to use their services, but when I finally did, I couldn’t get an appointment at all. Instead, I was forced into a useless telephone consultation with the GP, who offered me no real solutions. This has been dragging on since last June 2024. I even asked for the Practice Manager to call me so I could make a formal complaint, but of course, I never received that call.
To make things worse, during my routine check-up, which should happen every five years, I recently discovered that they had completely faked one of the check-ups. They entered false information without actually conducting any examination—just because I don’t often need GP services. This is beyond frustrating and unacceptable.

Almost impossible to get help from them. When calling on the phone - says you are caller number 1, and it can easily be a 40-50 minute wait, while you are supposedly '1st in line"... i cried quite a few times because of their incompetence and delays where quick action is needed. Ill be looking for another surgery. This one is simply not fit for purpose.

I was asked to do a blood pressure and weight check after my appointment with a doctor and the nurse doing it asked me unnecessary questions about my appointment with the doctor and I felt really uncomfortable and awkward. I'm not sure why she felt the need to give me "advice" on something she clearly knew nothing about. Also, when the reception calls you they call you for 2 seconds...? You can't be a little more generous? Call for 10 seconds at least? If you hate your job so much, leave it.
