I had a CT scan today and I’m pleased for the helpful nurses and team work. They so professional and quick to do the appointments.
No long queue, I come a bit early from my appointment time.
There is good waiting area for patients, toilets and accessible toilet available in the waiting area.
Vendors available out side the MRI & CT Scan Department, just in the main entrance of City Hospital.
I been told, City Hospital will move to the new hospital Midland Metropolitan University Hospital by the end of October or early November this year 2024.

Great support from the staff. Visited for the first time, the staff were friendly and helpful.
I can see great teamwork and professionalism.
Appointments were maintained as scheduled.
The patient waiting areas were great accessible toilets.
There were also good parking spaces.

Attended a maternity ward visit with other birth workers and Doulas. Very clean ward, lots of rooms, neonatal unit nice. Cosy birthing rooms. My takeaway was how the community midwives made me feel . Things have far improved since I gave birth here in 2012.

Great facilities from start to end. At the Enterance the security guard checks your appointment letter. Then guides you where to go. After entering your hands are sanitised and you are givin a new face mask. You have to wear one even if you are wearing your own. Then you go to a self check in counter and mark your attendance through the bar code on apt letter and few details about yourself. Then you are guided by the staff to concerned department. You wait in the waiting area for your turn. Chairs in waiting area are kept 2 meters apart. First a nurse takes you to check temprature and height and BP etc. Later you are called to be checked by Doctor. Throughout guidance and SOPs strictly followed. Well done

Recently i went for a walk in covid vaccine. The building is easy to find and has no direction from the main hospital entrance and i had to walk here and there to reach it. Anyway, one i got there it was all great. From start to end every single step was guided and explained properly and i was given my Jab with full prior and post instructions.
The finding part was only diffucult so the pictures i have added are for the covid jab walk in center. Was open toll 6pm on Saturday, thts the best part.
In short, you go on the back of the main hospital entrance building and walk straight towards the car parks. Cross both car parks and you will see a new building Constitution, cross that building and you will see the signs following the area. The picture with green and yellow bins is the place for Jabs.

I had a traumatic experience at City Hospital Birmingham. After being attacked, I arrived in shock, unable to walk, and covered in blood. I asked politely for some water while recovering in a bed, only to be aggressively dragged out by a nurse named Rita. She told me to “shut up and stop complaining” before wheeling me into the waiting room and leaving me there. I was physically and emotionally broken, and instead of care, I was met with hostility and humiliation. I understand staff are under pressure, but no one deserves to be treated like that.

This was my first time visiting this hospital and I was horrified by the exterior of the building. It was cheap cladding and paint peeling off. I proceeded into the building and there was no main reception desk, so I was lost. The was a cafeteria as soon as you enter the building, and the food smell just hits you in the face. The hospital itself is very outdated to say the least, the corridors/wards had overfilled bins, the toilet had a used patients gown left out - This is a serious hygiene risk. The hospital looked like a old haunted Tudor times primary school. Nonetheless, the doctors who looked after me, were lovely. But this hospital is in dire need of a refurbishment.

I went in for surgery because they can’t diagnose whether I have cancer or it’s endometriosis, they’ve taken my ovary and my mental health has severely been affected after just loosing my dad from cancer I built up all my confidence to answer the call today for my results to be left yet another week in limbo because a doctor I’m apparently under (that has been involved in none of my care) is on annual leave, so now cancer could be spreading through my body, my mental health is now in even more pieces, I can’t tell work what’s going on as I don’t know and could now loose a job a worked hard for
