Almost every single Fostair inhaler I have used has stopped functioning before even half the 120 metered doses have been used up. I have enquired about this with Chiesi and they have offered me no explanation. I now have a bad case of Covid, my inhaler stopped working with 68 doses remaining, and I am having trouble breathing because my asthma has flared up due to being run down. I have concluded that I can NEVER trust Chiesi UK with my health. They appear to be a company preoccupied with profits only and are more than happy to produce and sell consistently faulty inhalers, effectively doubling their profit because users have to throw out they inhalers after only getting half the expected use for them. Chiesi is making profits at the expense of people’s health and the safety of asthmatics in the UK. I am 50 years old, lucid, and able to critically assess when my inhaler is not delivering doses normally. Many people out there such as the elderly, the disabled, those with dementia or cognitive impairments, or those with mental health problems may not be able to find the correlation between the faulty inhaler and the deterioration of their breathing. It is a total disgrace that a health company such as Chiesi is leaving what must be a widespread problem with a very commonplace asthma medication unaddressed and instead focus their resources on profits.

I'm on 65actuations at the moment, and my fostair inhaler is barely working. Tiny puff, nothing visible, unusually , and virtually no effect.
I rely on this for breathing, not good enough. Quality control needs checking.
Please sort out this problem.
Many thanks, David Warren.
PS. Usually excellent.
