Exceptional care and compassion! My recent visit to Cheltenham General Hospital was outstanding. The staff were friendly, attentive, and highly skilled. From the moment I arrived, I felt at ease and confident in the care I received. The facilities were clean, modern, and well-maintained. I'm grateful for the excellent treatment and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone seeking top-notch medical care.

I had an ankle operation performed by an orthopaedic surgeon yesterday and all went smoothly.in the evening after I was discharged, I noticed excessive through the dressing and the boot liner. I ended up back in orthopaedics and trauma outpatients the next day (today) and had the pleasure of being looked after by Begonia. A true professional. She was knowledgeable, friendly, empathetic, efficient, helpful and any other positive words I can think of. She “signposted” what she was doing next and this kept me composed.

Clearly a credit to the NHS.

Most of my experiences at the General are disastrous, but five stars goes to Radiology 1 and a wonderful young lady by the name of Laura. Extremely helpful and cheerful, highly professional, and a credit to both the hospital and her parents. Truly efficient. Give her a medal and a well-deserved pay rise. I only hope that she runs the department (or the whole hospital) one day. Thank you, Laura! 👍

Months later, and I finally met Laura again. She's just as wonderful as I remember!

Small cozy cottage hospital. Sad that they do not have a children's in-patients unit or an ED that caters to kids and so children have to go all the way to Gloucester for specialist medical care. Service is good. Ample parking space available close by.

Dear sir,
It is with great and continuing satisfaction that I write to you today.I have received treatment over many health issues since I moved to Gloucestershire in 1991. I have been greatly pleased with the attention I have received at all times from your Trust and none more so than during my latest grapple with prostate cancer. I have been under Dr Duncan Stow throughout and my gratitude to him for his guidance and care, along with all the other health-care professionals, left me with unerring confidence throughout the ten or so years of my treatment. His kind and measured words have been my constant companion. He rang me Wednesday to tell me that the SABR treatment had proved successful and that the latest PET scan showed an absence of disease.
Thank you to all concerned, you leave behind a happy man.
