Very happy with the care I have received recently. I got bitten by a dog so I made an appointment online to see a doctor.
The very next morning, I was called by the receptionist who told me that I needed to be seen sooner than the appointment I had made online and booked me a new, sooner appointment.
Lorraine was and always is, an absolute pleasure, very personable, very knowledgeable and checks to make sure you understand the advice given before you leave.
Unfortunately my bite got infected so I had to make another appointment.
Again the surgery was excellent, the receptionist was very helpful trying to find me a suitable appointment and I was dealt with very promptly.

The best surgery I have ever been to. Reception staff are lovely, Doctors actually care and Lorraine is just the best most caring nurse. People deserve to know when they’ve done a good job and I’m hoping staff all see this and know how amazing they all are!

My previous experiences have been good with this practice.
However, yesterday, my appointment time was 4.20pm and I was seen at 4.45pm I gave had to finish work early to attend the appointment, I could have worked another half an hour if I wasn't going to be seen on my appointment time.

The gp I saw I felt was rushed and not helpful, I felt very much like she wanted to get through the appointment to catch up on time. She was unhelpful and I came away feeling as though she didn't really care about what I'd gone in for. I never bother the doctors but this pain is hurting me now and I'd like something to be done/checked but that wasn't the case yesterday.

Been with the surgery for 20 years....
Since it's been taken over or expanded my children can't get the care they need waiting nearly 1 week for a ear infection or potentially a burst ear drum is not acceptable 🤔 😒

This practice is getting worse every time I use it. Opening time is 9am, really is that acceptable? The receptionist is so rude and unhelpful. The doctor I actually saw was unhelpful and did not explain the cause as he was rushed and wanted to move on the next patient.
Awful practice and we praise the NHS!

What a fantastic & wonderful surgery this, I have been with them for over 4years now I think !, I'm so glad to be a patient at this surgery.
Everyone at this surgery ALL pull together in the same direction which is great to see in the work place of today.

Everyone in the surgery are all approachable and want to have a chat with you when you come through the door to the waiting room. The doctors I have seen over the years are truly professional & caring for the patients are are their number 1 priority.
The nursing staff at the surgery are of the same too.
I have no issues of obtaining an appointments when I require them & getting to see a GP again is no issue at all.

So all in all Charnwood Surgery are all very helpful in what they do & for me are very happy in their jobs in this practice.

I give my full appreciation of what they do in their day to day workload together with big round of applause to ALL the people who work in the Charnwood Surgery.

Not happy as of nurses behaviour towards me when I asked for some advice at my last appointment and she has now put I had demanded for test on to medical records when I didn’t demand for anything just advise very rude not apologetic at all and now I have to talk to practice manager so this nurse doesn’t upset anyone else

Edit: the practice manager was extremely helpful and has made sure that this sort of thing will not happen again. Thank you so much you have gone above and beyond
