Really has gone down hill. Called up first thing ‘you’re caller number 30’. I get through. Fed up sounding receptionist. No appointments. Get a call from a doctor who clearly doesn’t have the time to listen to me for more than 30 seconds. ‘You’ll need to come in. Try again in the morning’. I’m walking around in pain. I have work. I have kids to sort out. Just book me an appt slot please. The amount of National Insurance I pay I should get a private treatment!

Not listened to at my last appointment and inappropriately referred, wasting everyone’s time, not to mention nhs money, only for today to request a repeat of medication prescribed by a consultant, with repeat to be issued by GP and a letter on file stating as much, to receive a message out of hours informing me that the practice partners will decide if I can have it, by discussion in a meeting on Monday. This leaves me with no recourse and anxious over the weekend, as without this medication, I’ll very quickly become unable to work.

I have a blood tests with Charles Hicks Surgery ,so I asked the nurse to add one blood test for me as I’m suspecting gout (I’m a GP) so I know what I’m talking about.by the way it will be the same sample then the nurse mentioned no we can not add uric acid as it is only if you have a gout.she was rude with me ,not helpful and not right .In other surgeries the nurse can ask the oncall doctor and can add it .I have to book another appointment which I have to call them at 8:30 am and then wait for long time and I’m busy.Bad experience and not happy with the service

Completely disappointing and lack of professional… my mom has taken 3 time the same blood test and still requesting to be repeated because the result cannot be used,. For more than a year I have support my mom in every appointment and requirement on the health center as she does not speak English, but now that I am complaining and requesting details about wha where the errors in previous test, they refuse to provide I formation because they need my mom to attend the center to provide a writing consent. Do no register here unless you want to waist your health!

Some of the doctors are very nice. but all u get is phone appointments and them trying there hardest to look for reasons not to see u long gone the days u have one doctor and see that one all the time. Not worse than seeing your doctor google your symptoms in front of u. So my review is sometimes good sometimes bad.

The best surgery ever, I can't praise enough from comparing with others. I admit that you have to be at the surgery to ensure a same day appointment but how many can say that a same day appointment is given at other places. Not very many. The treatment that I have received from the practitioners has always been excellent what more can one ask for?.

My wife has recently died, all the staff at the surgery have been sensitive and supportive, especially Dr Soni.
He was amazing, the way he spoke me was so supportive.
Thanks to all staff at the surgery.
We have been with the surgery for 26 years, and have always found the receptionist always courteous and polite
