I had a full body scrub by Amber. She was so kind and friendly and made me feel comfortable straight away. She was understanding and listened to my concerns before we started the treatment. I would recommend treatments at Chakra Spa and with Amber.

Definitely want to visit again!

Also the afternoon tea was sooo yummy! 😋

The spa is small, with a pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms. The staff are lovely friendly and helpful. I went with a friend and had a full body exfoliation and my friend had a manicure - both ladies that did the treatment were good.

The lunch was lovely, we had 2 courses and Tiana was our waitress. I have to commend her she was diligent and paid attention to detail and very considerate of my friend dietary requirements. The chef was also really considerate. Compliments to the chef for the food and the attention to detail on allergies and my friends dietary retirements.

Had a really lovely experience at the spa today, it was the first time my mum had been to one and really enjoyed it. The facilities were great, treatment was very good (had a facial and back massage with Scarlett and lunch was very pleasant. Highly recommend

Had an extremely disappointing experience here last Saturday. Booked my mum and I in for the spa relaxation package for a special treat for her birthday- £88 each. Had 45 mins in the pool area. We were told there would be robes and slippers in the lockers- no slippers. Asked the spa reception, there were none there either someone had to go looking for some. There was a water jug with only an inch of water in it and one plastic cup, so when our slippers came I had to ask for water, which came in paper cups instead of the jug being refilled (maybe a covid thing but then I dread to think how long that stagnant water had been there, and why leave one cup next to it?) Steam room out of service due to covid- fine. But the sauna wasn’t even turned on- had to ask for that. And then wait for it to heat up. Whole area felt grubby and sad; there was a random hose wheel by the pool. Toilets were messy the entire time we were there. Then it was time for our treatments, which was meant to be a 40 min facial. Minuue done by Sadie was lovely. Mum was given an express facial instead and led out after 25 mins. Once she realised the time she asked reception, the therapist (Sam) blamed the mistake on ‘new management’. Took her back in, told her she couldn’t do any more facial treatments as she had already put the finishing creams on, but would give her a head and neck massage (not what we wanted and she had already given her a head massage while one of the masks were on). When I was done I asked the spa reception what had happened, at first they tried to make out no mistake was made and she received the full treatment, just in 2 parts which is absolute nonsense. They then blamed it on the therapist and said she must have misread the booking. No attempt to remedy the situation, just gave their halfhearted apologies. Extremely unprofessional. Sadie gave me a card with all the products she used, Sam just asked my mum ‘which product she liked’ and only wrote that on the card. Lunch was quite nice, so one star for that and one star for Sadie - but not worth the money at all. I definitely would never recommend this spa to anyone. Shame as we only live down the road and it could have become a regular thing.

We had a lovely spa day for a friend's birthday. Price was very reasonable and included a really lovely and generous lunch. The facilities are as expected in a hotel spa, nice pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Plenty of sun loungers to relax on. What made the day really special were the people who looked after us. Every single person was super kind and helpful, everything felt very genuine and we felt very welcome and valued. We all had treatments with Scarlet who was an absolute joy, she listened to what we each wanted from our massages and delivered. Michelle in the spa and all the colleagues in the bar and restaurant were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. We had a great day and we will return.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. I had a shoulder, neck and back massage and my sister had a facial. Highly recommend due to the quality of the treatments. We also had afternoon tea as part of a winter bundle. Wonderful food.

A quick one night spa break for me and my partner for our 20th anniversary, ALL the staff were amazing, so attentive, patient and friendly. The spa facilities were good. Our spa treatments were lovely, the receptionist was very helpful and the lady who did our treatments was great. The food was very very nice. Rooms lovely and clean and had everything in that was needed. No complaints here and would very much stay again.
