The surgery is amazing, had an appointment with a nurse today for a few things and Clare was so good, put me at ease, was so professional and efficient I was in and out in no time for something I thought would be quite traumatic! She made it “almost” enjoyable! This whole surgery does an amazing job in what has to be one of the most stressful industries today….. doctors and nurses under pressure every single day to provide a service to a sometimes ungrateful public, I for one will sit in a queue on the phone for ages, wait days for an appointment for non urgent issues, speak courteously and nicely to anyone I have to deal with in this practise as they have been there in my times of need every single time, many thanks to you all, keep on doing what you do, you ARE appreciated

I just want to express my thanks to the surgery for helping me with a very painful cut finger with inflammation spreading to my hand.
The pharmacist had a good look and said he was certain it was infected and needed some urgent attention from a nurse. He told me to go to reception and explain the situation. Carol the receptionist couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. She said a nurse would fit me in when she got a gap in appointments, I was more than happy to sit and wait a while.
Sophie was friendly, professional and efficient. She prescribed penicillin and said to return if the inflammation continued to spread over a line she drew on my hand.
I cannot fault the service I received at the surgery.

The only receptionist, I find polite, very helpful and always has a smile, is a young lady named Liz. The rest are rude, unhelpful and miserable looking you get totally ignored while they are having a conversation with their friends over the counter. The prescription line, never get it right. I have been left without epilepsy drugs for 2 weeks. The hospital prescribed me with a drug 5 months ago. I have had it every month with no problem. This week I was told I could not have it, it was not on my repeat script. It is so easy to catch them out with their untruths. If there was another surgery I would certainly move. The low score on latest check speaks for itself

I rang on a busy Monday morning at 9 o’clock , used the call back facility which worked well , and after a short consultation was able to see a nurse practitioner at 11-30 , we had a unrushed conversation and diagnosed the issue and was able to dispense the required medication

Had a smear test today carried out by Practice Nurse C.D. She was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Her reassuring manner and kindness made all the difference (but once every 3yrs is enough!)
I can understand people’s frustrations with GP practices, I really can, but this surgery has been excellent in my experience. I have seen Drs S.E, J.A, C.K and S.H and they’ve all been great. Dr S.H was particularly conscientious: she was due to take extended leave and wanted to make sure my care was followed up on before she left. I really felt valued and genuinely cared for: an excellent GP and lovely person.
Practice Nurse S.J has also been great in my opinion, she is always empathetic and thorough. I also see Nurse H.D yearly and she’s brill - lovely energy, always has time for you and seems like she truly loves her job.
When I’ve needed onward blood tests or referrals they’ve been arranged promptly and I have to say I have always felt very involved in my care planning with the opportunity to ask questions freely and discuss options.

As an aside, the on-site pharmacy is another story: utter chaos much of the time with long waits (an hour one time only to be told they didn’t have what I needed!) Allison’s Pharmacy is hard to beat!

Just moved to this surgery and everything that people have been saying is unfortunately true. I have called only twice, and both times I have been met with horrible attitude. Like none of them is bothered to work there. From reviews that go all the way back to 3-4 years it seems that nothing had changed and I think management should consider some customer service and people skills training, or if some ladies ( not all of them as I also spoken to very nice ones face to face) there are not bothered to work with and for people I suggest a different career path.
Absolutely shocking.

Poor services totally a sign of discrimination and racism.I have been going there for more than three months suffering from back pain and right leg and all they can give me is painkillers and say just manage the pain, they are refusing me to get an MRI scan saying it’s not necessary yet they don’t know what is causing the pain just curing me blindly and the condition is even worsening. They have no care at all, and I don’t know if this is how they treat their own because it’s like they just want to see you suffer or die even.

The state of the NHS! Tried to get an appointment for my 6 year old daughter 3 days in a row and was told to ring up again at 8am as there was no appointments again. I used asda online doctors in the end up and got treatment sent via the post.
