Is this a joke? 🤦‍♀️
Hubby has probably requested to see a doctor once in 20 years. Called for an appointment. Have to fill in a form. The form, we are told, is to avoid the 8am rush if people calling. Went to fill the form in at around 12 and you can’t submit it because it’s at full capacity.
FYI… it’s just an ingrowing toenail. He doesn’t need to see a doctor he just needs someone to take it out!
I genuinely feel for people that are actually poorly… what chance do any of us stand if simply booking an appointment is such a performance?!
So now, you fill the form in, then it’s assessed, then you book to see the doctor then book another appointment to go back and have aforementioned nail removed. We do have jobs you know! 😂
Glad I’ve moved away from here and left the poor hubby to it!

I think this surgery wants to see people die for negligence
They don’t have any empathy for patients
The online appointment is such a time consuming system
In general it is a bad surgery and I’m looking at changing my GP

I don't know why this health centre has such a bad reviews. Ladies at the reception are always kind and helpful to me. Doctor and nurse also helpful. This is a busy centre with all new development... way too many patients in this small centre. NHS is struggling everywhere in the UK but this is not the employees fault. I hope they will get some funds for more nurses and doctors, so the service will run more smoothly and waiting time will be reduced in the future.

You will hardly ever get an appointment, I rely on our out of hours, AnE and 111 to get medical help for myself and my children. Even if you do call at 8:00 o clock receptionists tell you that all the appointments are gone and to call back next day. This surgery is busier than Prime minister. I am looking forward to change to another surgery who will be able to meet my needs of healthcare and be able to provide me at least one appointment over period of 6 months. Don't waste your time registering at this surgery.

Absolutely useless, you can't even call for an appointment any more. You have to fill in a form and just wait. Better off calling 111, it's no wonder our hospitals are under such strain.

This has become a very bad joke now. I no longer have any idea WHO my doctor actually is or if I even have one. I can't help thinking this surgery doesn't really have any.
It also seems they're not even offering appointments any more as you can only 'request' an 'online consultation'.
This is a tragedy waiting to happen, through either medical negligence or misdiagnosis. How you can claim to be providing 'health care services' like this is beyond me if you're neither SEEING nor even TALKING to patients.
Desperately needs NHS or CQC intervention before somebody dies.
Leaving and submitting a complaint to NHS, CQC & GMC.
Appalling!

We had an appointment for our son yesterday both vaccination and GP appointment. Unfortunately we missed it because we got stuck in the traffic. I was so worried about missing the appointments and called the receptionist to reschedule it. The receptionist was so kind and considerate and she sorted us yesterday itself. I can’t thank enough the GP who saw my son late even we missed our appointment regardless of his busy schedule.if I have known the name of the receptionist and GP, I would have thanked them personally here: GP was so kind and listened to all our doubts patiently and he did not rush us to see the next patient quickly. He did not just listen to the chief complaint as most of the GPs do, but cleared all our worries and concerns about our child in the single appointment . He is the true representative of NHS practice. He was considerate and reassured us. Big hats off to the receptionist lady who go above and beyond and sort both the appointments yesterday itself. You are doing an amazing job. Thank you Camphill practice. Thank you for the care and service

I am writing this review as I believe that a 1.9/5 rating is not a fair representation.

This morning, I called at 08:10 to book an appointment and was informed that I was sixth in the queue. After finally getting through, I was told that the practice was unable to confirm the appointment time because the doctor starts late and finishes precisely at 5, and that they would call me back after the doctor's arrival. When I asked what time I could expect the call back, I was told that I had called late and that it would likely be in the second half of the day. However, I never received a call back.

I am unsure whether this is a result of poor management, a shortage of doctors, or an issue with the receptionists. I do not wish to judge or single out any individual, but I feel that anyone who calls a GP practice is in need and deserves to be treated fairly and with respect.

At present, I am unsure whether I am still waiting in the queue to be booked, or if I need to try again the next available day. A clear and timely form of communication would have been greatly appreciated.
