Now “cafe noir”, run by new owners. Food is decidedly worse than it once was, being more expensive than prior and with a taste of chemicals and old grease. I can’t say the staffing is an improvement either. A shame.

This is a great local cafe the staff are always exceptionally friendly and always polite the food is cooked to your liking with both an eat in and take out services available. They accept cash and card so it's convenient for everyone they also accept telephone orders.

Pretty poor experience. The staff were clearly not that interested, cafe was cold as the staff. Table not clean.
However the food was hot and there was lots of it, pity it was really let down by the service and staff ☹️

Can't comment on the food as we didn't get any. Found it very strange to be told the cafe was closing at 12.25 on a Friday lunchtime and be turned away. Never known a cafe/sandwich shop close at peak lunchtime and refuse paying customers. Suggest they review their opening hours
