Nurses are amazing, free parking available, just be careful that it's impossible to exit the building without assistance after they lock the doors in the early evening. A fire safety issue which needs addressing

Just a fantastic service and team.

Visited the Urgent Treatment Unit after a mishap with the handle of a hot steak pan on a Sunday night. I was greeted by smiling friendly faces who were so kind and courteous. My details were taken and I was being seen in under two minutes (Though I was told this was as the football was on and the town was safe from itself for those 90mins... Except me) by the excellent nurses who made the whole experience so pleasant! We had a good laugh, reviewed the wound, bandaged me up, gave me onward care advice and I was on my way home in under 15mins. I was told that if anything changes to come back.

Just all round outstanding. I really do love our NHS! This team is an absolute credit to our community! Great work!

I was referred by Stepping Hill for toe amputation. The whole experience was flawless and all the staff ( nurses and surgeon ) showed gentle care and attention throughout. They were sympathetic about my anxiety ( even though this was my second operation ) and kept me informed all the time. They followed up with a call next day to ensure there were no problems. Thank you all.

Staff were amazing, answered all my questions quickly and helped with my medical issue. Wait was not too long but hopefully, as with any hospital, I will not have to be back anytime soon.

Nipped in today for a wound check as my doctors (goyt valley medical practice) refused to see me. The staff were wonderful and saw me quickly. They were professional and we had a laugh about how my accident happened. Couldn’t have asked for better care from some lovely ladies.

After undergone surgery at stepping Hill (eventually!!) I was told I had to have daily dressings which I understood immediately and proceeded to make appointments at Thornbrook surgery unable to make any appointment my only choice I had to make was at the cottage hospital who right from the start welcomed me and based on the little info we had were more than happy to help this has now been for the last 2 weeks and still to this day.
Constant care and may I say understaffed they still had a smile on their faces and now I would like to call friends, despite the workload they have to do everyday they have been great in my care and need to be noticed for what they do .
As for Thornbrook (well that's another review!!) I was constantly let down by appointments the staff at the cottage hospital were ready for when I came in and even as a walkin patient I was seen very swiftly and with a smile.
Well done girls and thanks for all you have and still doing to this day.

A very grateful patient

Ps I'm not very good with names but this is for the staff at the urgent care centre as i have only met them but I'm sure your all worthy a mention for what you do in this hard time on the NHS.
Please keep going because we all deep down really appreciate everything you do and everything you go through and still smile at the end ?

Took mum aged 82 for a hip X-ray, mum had lost her prescription letter but I’d photographed it on my phone. Then we were 25 minutes late, are all old people so damn stubborn? Don’t be too harsh as I’m sixty and suppose I’m not that far off…!
Spoke to the radiographer Paul, needed the letter but suggested I sent the photograph of the letter by email, he was superb with mum as were all the staff, understanding, compassionate, caring and just lovely people.
The hospital is a gem and the people within are just lovely.
