Awful, 3 weeks for a telephone appointment, if you miss the call, another 3 week wait.
I have hypertension and (even though It's a potential life ending condition) have not seen a Dr at all but have seen the nurse there who proceeds to pop into the Dr for advice.
The place is also dead, hardly any patients in there when I pop in to get my prescription.
What a mess this gaff is.

Fantastic Doctors Surgery. Highly recommended. Had to leave a review after looking art a couple of the silly 'Mr Angry' reviews.

Clean, spacious, tidy and organised. Always very helpful. In 15 years never an issue getting a reasonably prompt appointment or call.

MUCH nicer and better than several other local doctors we have tried. All the family go here.

I worked for the Health Service for 33 years and I have moved house a few times. Burford Surgery, are just the best, from the reception staff, nurses and also the wonderful Dr Vivienne Austin. I have never met such a dedicated competent doctor ever. I have total confidence in her. When I had COVID she kept in close contact with me by telephone, frequently to ensure I was o.k. even sending a member of staff to my home to deliver a pulse oximeter, Vivienne goes the extra mile for her patients, we are fortunate to have such a great surgery on our doorstep.

My family and I have had nothing but good service from the staff at this surgery.
Over the decades they have helped us through routine medical needs.
They have also helped us to cope with very serious illness on several occasions.
Within the constraints created by a struggling NHS, they continue to cope with our routine and emergency medical care.

You can't book an appointment to see I doctor here you have to get a doctor to ring you then he decides if you should see him/her. Not sure how your meant to organise work! I always thought your medical records we private and confidential so am a bit concerned why a untrained receptionist has access to them.

Shockingly bad practice! I have lived all over the world and this is the worst surgery I have ever come across! I have been in Burford for nearly ten years and have received nothing but terrible service!
