I recently attended Buckshaw Hospital for a procedure and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the staff were kind, respectful, and extremely reassuring. The nurses made me feel at ease, and the doctors explained everything clearly both before and after the procedure. Clean, calm environment and genuinely compassionate care — thank you to the whole team for making a daunting experience so much more manageable.

Had a procedure done today and to be fair not one I was looking forward to. From booking in to being discharged everything was perfect, reception friendly,nurses very helpful and explained everything even the chap that inserted my cannula was amusing and polite , procedure done quickly and professionally by the doctor Dr Loganathan his team in theatre were amazing,polite and reassuring.
Recovery nurse too was brilliant
overall considering I didn't want to go the experience was so good with such nice staff , highly recommend ..thank you.

I had hernia surgery yesterday at Buckshaw hospital. Must say the care was second to none. Brilliant experience from start to finish. Special shout out to nurse Amy who looked after me pre and post op - such a lovely kind warm caring and professional person. Everyone there was great, organised and efficient and I couldn’t recommend this hospital enough.

My better half had a MRI scan done today and he was struggling with the confined space element of the procedure. The nurses were absolutely spectacular in the way they talked to him and progressed through the whole process. Fantastic hospital, especially the MRI nurses.

I had a procedure done today and I must admit I was bricking it, the nurses were absolutely fantastic they put me at ease, from admission to the moment I left i couldn't have asked for anymore. Mr Harris was fantastic, he was that good that I never felt a thing, I didn't know that I'd gad anything done. Top class Drs and Nurses, thank you so much for looking after me..

We have come to this hospital for 3 appointments and every visit we were told the consultant is behind about 40 minutes but 1hour 15 minutes later still waiting .
But told to turn up 15 minutes before your appointment time ,so why would you not call the person to tell them there is a delay and come a bit later ?
If I was late you would turn me away so why is my time less important than yours ?
I pay for private medical insurance so would expect a better service

Had a gastroscopy done today, staff were so nice and kind, especially the theatre staff who made me feel so at ease as I was so anxious about the procedure. And Mr Singh who did the procedure was brilliant too. The procedure itself isn't pleasant but they made it as stress free as possible and reassured me throughout. Thank you

Would recommend using an alternative physiotherapy provider.
Was discharged prematurely, I challenged this and sessions continued with a different physiotherapist who then also discharged me.

Since then I have been having sessions with a different provider and have made improvements which Buckshaw told me I wouldn't make.

Edit. Called the number provided by Helene 3 times, it is a voicemail for Joanne Finch. Left a message and have not had my call returned.
