WORST RECEPTION TEAM!
Young blonde receptionist was extremely rude and talking to my mum as if she’s stupid. My mum unfortunately has broken English, something she always states prior to speaking to anyone so that they are aware. Very clear the way she treated/spoke to my mum came from a place of discrimination, talking down to her because her English was broken. Kept claiming my mum raised her voice on the phone earlier when in reality she wasn’t even giving my mum a chance to speak, knowing fine well her English is broken. They messed up my sisters appointment, and still blamed my mum and sister. The doctors are so lovely but the reception staff are some of the worst people you will encounter. You would think people who work in healthcare would be kind, compassionate and empathetic towards patients. Unfortunate that the reception staff are so hostile considering the GPs are so wonderful. Honestly find a better GP don’t waste your time. Reception staff will absolutely ruin your experience with this practice.

To be fair I don’t think it’s just this doctors but they’re Useless. I rang on a Friday to book an appointment for a review of my medication and the earliest appointment receptionist offered was 2 weeks time. I advised I didn’t have enough medication to last until then and I’d need a prescription ordered. She said she would request a doctor to look at it and sign it off. Monday comes, nothing at pharmacy. Walks over to doctors and they said it’s still waiting to be signed. Tuesday comes and still nothing. Called doctors three times and they all said it’s still waiting to be signed. Called fourth time and another receptionist said it was only requested Monday. So they’re also liars as well. Outcome, Call 111 and they can prescribe you.

absolutely shocking doctors.
I had to change from my previous doctors as moved into this area. Ive health complications and was absolutely shocked how i went from being able to see a gp when i needed to, to just point blank refused at this practice ive spent more time having to wait in walk in centres and being sent to other practices which has led to hospital stays.
You would think a dr practice so busy the waiting room would be constantly full but everytime you walk past it’s completely dead

Reception staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I was unable to get an appointment but the staff were very accommodating. I was offered several options. I decided to try the E-consultation. I found this very easy to use and once I filled out the form I was contacted very quickly and my concerns were see to. Fantastic service.

Great practice, it can be tricky to get a non-urgent appointment, but any time my family has needed to be seen more urgently, they are very good at this. Doctors are thorough and receptionists are always friendly and helpful. Considering the stresses they must be under it’s a very good service overall.

I am a daughter who is supporting the health of my 93 yr old mum from a distance. The kindness and responsiveness of the Reception and GP has been terrific and a special mention to the community paramedic who has visited mum on a number of occasions. My dad was also under their care during the pandemic and the support was equally good. It’s really difficult to support from a distance but I have appreciated every effort made by all the staff I have encountered, to enable me to so. Thank you to your skilled and compassionate team.

I can't praise every single member of staff more they have been nothing short of amazing for my Mam who has now recently passed i am her Son and was LPA and next of kin. From my mam having to move into Bowmont House Great Park and the 4 years or so she was there to having to move into Brunswick House Brunswick village from August 2021 until 11th April 2023 they have been nothing but amazing. First contact after receptionist was Dr Scott spoke to him on many occasions and other Doctors including secretaries and of course receptionists the entire team of staff have been worth there weight in gold not only for my mam but for myself having to deal with anything to do with mam. They always got an answer for something for me if not straightaway they always got back to me. They're the best surgery i have had the pleasure of dealing with second to none, i thought my Mams initial doctors were good they are at least ten times better and at least fifty times better than my own. So credit where credit is due what a fantastic team of people. The atmosphere i can imagine there must be amazing and that will no doubt come from the top. Your a credit to your community and the NHS.
Thank You all so much

Where to start, last year after changing my medication for my mental health I was massively struggling with suicidal urges. I repeatedly rang for an appointment explaining how I was struggling at the time, just to be told call back tomorrow at 8 every time. This year after a trip to A&E I was told to call my GP to get a referral, would they give me one no. I had to jump through hoops first needing a telephone appointment and then a face to face appointment, where the doctor spent 20 minutes looking for a reflex hammer (despite my reflexes being fine and checked the week before. Eventually after repeatedly chasing a referral was sent, however there's mistakes on it. Today Ive just called the hospital and been told my referral has been cancelled and to speak to my gp. They also still won't allow you to book appointments in advanced and very rarely allow face to face appointments. Its really no wonder the NHS is bursting at the seems
