Broomfield Hospital

This hospital is bright, modern and well organised. Sometimes its a while tp get a referralbut I habe had nothing less than excellent care there, with a particular shout out to the Orthotists in the surgical appliances department. Parking isnt easy or cheap, and if you are able to walk I would advise this. I park up to a 20 min walk away and enjoy the walk! Found the lego hospital today as well which was cool.

I’ve been to this hospital twice one in an ambulance and one In an and e and both times it was a fantastic service. The staff on the GP unit are fantastic we were seen too so quickly and everyone was welcoming and patient. One of the best hospitals I’ve been to!! A real testament to our NHS.

My son was born here 14/08/2024.everything was amazing on that day and the labour ward team deserve a 5 star Unfortunately today. The disaster.day took all my good thought away from Broomfield. I needed to go to the baby ward as my son who is now 5 week old have a belly button infection Waited 10 hours to see a doctor. But constantly seening doctors walking around talking together laughing . Another baby by me had difficulty breathing. And they did not seem to care. Why ate we paying so much taxes and national insurance for such poor doctors

Terrible service at A+E. waiting at for ridiculous amount of hours regarding my 14month old baby due to only being 1 doctor being shared between children and adult patients. Waste of tax payers money. Disgraceful.

Visited the breast clinic today as referred by the GP. From the referral, I was told there would be a 3-4 week waiting time however got the call from Broomfield who saw me 6 days after GP appointment. Arrived at the clinic at 10:30, seen 10 minutes after that and left promptly at 11 with my mind put at ease and met some very friendly staff there. The only thing I can fault is their car park which is absolutely chaos as the car park is simply not big enough for all of the visitors.

Am impressed with the burns department. They really did a great job when I had an accident. The skin graft went well, with the therapy department. All thanks to God and you guys.

Whilst the staff are brilliant and I hwve nothing but praise for them, the parking here is an absolute joke. How do you expect people to keep their appointments when it takes half an hour to find a space, if you're lucky!! Even the staff commented that they're not guaranteed a space either! Too many new houses built without the infrastructure to cope. Doesn't take a genius to realise the problem. Needs sorting urgently

Rang labour ward to see how my daughter was. I was told that data protection does not allow info. So why does the hospital not improve its service by allocating a key word that authorises only those in the know to get updates. Asking me to ring my high risk daughter who is in labour and I not wanting to disturb her during this critical time is ridiculous. Get a service improvement plan in place now !
