My husband had headache constantly for 2 weeks eventually got appointment to be told think you have tooth infection gave him pencillen which after 2 days became ill so stopped taking it. 2 weeks later being week 4 still with constant headache rang last Wednesday was told he would get call never got call till Thursday see doctor who said it's your neck gave him tablets 1 at night. Took one Thursday night said makes you drowsy. Friday morning woke like a zombie thought must be tablet so phoned up surgery get someone to ring you. No call afternoon called 111 rushed to Worthing then CT scan showed bleed in brain taken to Brighton for emergency surgery and luckily saved him. We won't be staying with this doctor.

today I tried to make an appointment but the woman at the reception named Elizabeth was very rude to me, she spoke to me very aggressively. I can't believe that such people work in the polyclinic. The people there should be more polite and help you, not like madam Elizabeth

My son started having symptoms of what appeared to be a urine infection. Called 111 night before and they recommended urine sample drop off and appointment.
I dropped off urine sample at 9 am and no one came back to me in the whole day. I dropped by 3 times between 9 am and 6 pm (they closed 6:30) and was told to book an appointment online in the morning, when it was becoming increasingly obvious an 8 year old boy needed antibiotics asap.
They had me take my son to a&e and wait for 3 hours to have a urine sample and be prescribed antibiotics rather than deal with it urgently at his GP. The whole consultation at A&E was about 10 mins max (inc urine test and prescription writing).
I thought the service was unhelpful, appalling, uncaring, unempathetic, and hope their own children don’t have to go through that kind of situation. I’m left wondering what I pay taxes for, and what sort of people are left triaging what’s important. Meanwhile I’m receiving endless text messages to have my blood pressure taken daily, and in writing they advise me to have a blood pressure machine loaned by them but then they refuse to loan it due to a ‘waiting list’.
Appreciate the reduced budgets cause this but then what’s the deal with the incongruent text messages and incessant letters?

Called twice in two days to try and get an appointment and told full or cannot book appointment. The receptionist couldn't have cared less and got very defensive and raised her voice when I politely suggested that this system is not fit for purpose.i don't need to see a doctor, I need a callback. Disgusting service.

Can’t comment on the quality of medical services, however, the admin team and their internal processes are the poorest I have ever seen.
Following my official complaint and a few follow ups nobody ever reached out back to me. They have ignored the complaint, resulting in me needing to take it further to the Ombudsman and requesting a Data Subject Access Request, both being my statutory rights. Netherless, mentioning that the DSAR request was completely ignored that will be reported to ICO. It all could have been avoided if they had an efficient admin process in place.
The worse GP practice I have ever seen.

Was in pain with a swollen and extremely sore elbow. Made an e-consultation online at 8:30am and got a call back at 8:40am to say could I come in at 9:00am. Saw the paramedic technician (Louise) at my appointment and was told that I may have an infection. Prescribed antibiotics and blood test done within the hour. Brilliant service. I had called the day before but there were a couple of doctors off sick and I could hear that they were extremely busy. The receptionist was very polite and told me to go the pharmacist which I did but they told me to take Ibruprofen and to see the doctor when I could to get it checked. The receptionists, paramedic technician and the nurse who took my blood samples were extremely professional. I would recommend using the e-consultation when you can for non emergencies. Include as detail about your symptoms as you can and attach photos where possible.

GP used to be really good, doctors used to be great. However, the doctors that have recently joined have been a real big pain for us. My mother's been going to the GP for 23 years, and there hadn't been any problems up until the past 2 years. She doesn't speak too much English, and struggles to understand most things. Therefore, a translator is arranged for her to be able to understand what doctors say. However, at the appointment doctors have said that she speaks and understands perfect English, and that she is only acting. Which is quite rude and creates an awkward situation for her for no reason, is this really necessary?

A newer doctor, Dr. Ferguson, has been seeing my mum at most of her recent appointments. There had been 2 situations, where my mum had been late to her appointments, and was refused to be seen. Which is fair enough, as she should of been on time. My mother gets alot of appointments from the hospital, due to her fibromyalgia and arthritis, and some of these appointments can be at inconvenient times due to school time. So we always call the hospital up and change these to a more convenient time. Well, what does this have to do with this? Well, Dr. Ferguson likes to question my mum everytime she goes in, and will make a list of the ones she has rearranged beforehand, so he can interrogate my mum in the most efficient way. Claiming that she cancelled them on purpose or was late to them. What do appointments being rearranged from the hospital have to do with you? Why do you need to be so nosy and controlling?

On this last occasion, Dr. Ferguson had made a full list of all the appointments my mum had not attended both from the GP and hospitals. And gave the grand conclusion to my mum that she had been kicked out of the GP. When she tried to dispute this, Dr. Ferguson said that it was too late and refused to speak about it any further. My mum has rheumatism, which affects her legs alot. She recently had lumps appearing, which has caused her to be in unbearable pain. She brought this up and Dr. Ferguson came to the conclusion that this has happened due to my mum carrying around luggage? Really confusing and not sure how he suddenly came up with this conclusion......

At a recent endoscopy at the hospital, the scan found lots of polyps in my mum's stomach. The team at the hospital said that it was "too much to count," and could lead severe consequences if left untreated. When my mum brought this up to Dr. Ferguson, he simply said that this wasn't his area and didn't do anything... If it isn't your area shouldn't you be directing it to someone that has this within their area?

My autistic brother has also been seeing Dr. Ferguson, however can get quite stressed and needs some time to go into the Dr's room. Dr. Ferguson is quite impatient, and is definitely not understanding. He will try and get my brother to come in, which only slows down the process of him building the courage to finally come in.

I've thankfully been quite healthy, otherwise I'm sure there would be quite more things to mention. Not everything is bad. The reception team is quite helpful both in person and on call. Dr. Arnold is really great and has been at the GP for a while. We've had no problems with him and he's been amazing. Will be looking for a new GP for my mum now, and potentially for the rest of the family aswell if they take everyone.

I'd give minus if it was possible. Absolutely shocking service, no car ewhatsoever for patients. My partner has a stage 4 brain tumour and has to rely on repeat prescriptions for steriods etc. Every single time she has an emergency prescription it takes so long to go through or more recently the Doc says they have sent it off and it's ready etc and every single time it turns out they haven't even sent it off yet, lying to patients nearly everytime. Receptionist has a chip on her shoulder about you before you've even opened your mouth. Incompetent, don't do their job properly and dismiss genuine concerns a cancer patient has been told to contact them about and wonder why we are contacting them when they are supposed to be clued up on this. It would be doing the people of Worthing a favour by shutting down this terrible excuse of a medical centre.
