I do not recommend this medical centre. Getting help here feels impossible even you're in a life-threatening condition. The waiting time for an appointment is at least a week, and when you finally get one, they often just tell you to go to the emergency department instead. The staff lacks professionalism and does not seem to care about patients' needs. A very frustrating and unhelpful experience.

This is probably the most welcoming doctors’ surgery I’ve ever been registered at. Yes, they’re in a building that is kind of falling down and you can tell the caseload is super challenging, but everyone I’ve ever spoken to from the practice has been way friendlier and nicer than they ‘needed’ to be. They do a fantastic job!

Called to make an appointment and been told that appointments are now onoy being make online and I can't make a booking over the phone, I went on the website navigated through a few pages, can't find much but what I can find is a message saying that you can still book online or over the phone and no other option is faster. Is great that I'm being taxed over £1000 a month to get this type of service.

This is worst Gp Always arguments to me Doctors when I’ve to ask to take me blood test refused it. After one week I fell on ground because lack of iron then I pushed to take blood test because I was weak and felt dizziness then they took blood test even though they wasn’t happy about it . They found I have anemia . They are arguments like they know you . Even receptions is very rude and disrespectful the way to talk to me and Very disappointed and stressful.

I've had a great experience with all staff and have been with this practice now for over 4 years. The reception staff are lovely, doctors and nurses great too. I've always been able to get an appointment when I've needed one, which is a real surprise. I feel very lucky to have this as my registered GP surgery.

After not the best experience with this practice years ago, I have been very pleasantly surprised how the have handled my situation this time. I have experienced serious throat pain, not being able to drink, eat, speak or even open my mouth properly. So the team has taken all the details, then provided me with a link and a useful guide to take a picture of my throat for triage. I got a call minutes after submitting the picture and offered an appointment a couple of hours later. A doctor saw me without much delay to my appointment time, has need very gentle, compassionate but still professional. He then referred me to the emergency ENT at Bristol Royal Infirmary Hospital, where I got treatment and got discharged same day feeling much better. I want to thank the Broadmead Medical Centre’s team for taking good care of me and making a quick referral that helped to improve my situation drastically!

I have been a patient here for over 10 years and rarely use these resources. But have been with the nhs for 50 years now. I am certainly not a burden on the NHS at all. However I walked into the centre two days ago to book an appointment for my arm which has been giving me grief for over 8 months. I finally went to see a Doctor as tried everything I could do to help it. This included tens machines, pain killers, resting my arm from training, heat and other times cold compress. Nothing has worked so far and the receptionist told me to go home and book an appointment to get a Doctor to look at it. I subsequently returned home and filled out a form to which I was told would be reviewed. It also stated that I may not require an appointment but they would let me know in 24 hours. I have not received anything since then. A bit of a shambles but hey! Latest news is no one phoned me back when they said they would so I rang them to chase what I asked for. Now I finally have a text for an appointment. I think a few things may need tweaking here.

Had great service every time I've been here! Never had to wait too long and booking on website or over phone is quick and easy. Nurses and doctors very helpful and can help over the phone instead of in person if needed
