I called the surgery at 8.30 and the receptionist was lovely. Recieved a face to face appointment less than 2 hours later and the GP was brilliant. Definitely 5 star and thank the
surgery for such great service.

Terrible practice; never able to get an appointment, rude unhelpful staff, will not listen to reason, and on top of this we moved only a few miles away only to be told ive been removed from their register, even though this practice is still the closest to our address and we had a new born baby. family of 5 and although we have tried to explain many many times and gave valid reasons, we were still removed. disgraceful.

Still fighting this. I find it almost impossible to remove the vile lies put on my medical record. Every department in the NHS has closed ranks. Anyone who has had a similar experience to me should request to see their full records. They didn't answer all my questions on the SAR. Bad business. They believe they have hierarchy over all. TBC

Today I had the nightmare from hell when I had to have an appointment with my doctor with a so-called NHS chaperone, why ? He was very intimidating and I believed at any moment he would attack me. Many times I told him that I did not what him present, the doctor was more than happy to be on her own with me.
Absolutely frightening!

after trying for 3 days at 08:30 hrs to make an appointment to see her GP my Wife finally got through this morning after waiting on the telephone for 40 minutes only to be told there are no appointments available today please try again tomorrow!!! After becoming upset my Wife was offered an appointment with the Nurse @ Longton Cottage Hospital ay 19:15 hrs but still unable to see her GP - one of her issues cannot be dealt with by the Nurse - this was explained to the Receptionist who was quite rude and most unhelpful....the Receptionists response was that my Wife would have to try again tomorrow if she needed an appointment with her GP!!! The system at the Medical Practice clearly does not work..........

The entire system at GP level has crashed. It's not acceptable to those of us with health issues who are still working.
I can't hold on the phone during my breaks at work. The long winded diatribe nonsensical Covid-19 greeting should be able to skip. Then there's an endless wait.
If I pay to go see a private GP I should be able to get my money back from national insurance.
How come the dentists are open seeing people but GPS are still hiding behind the sofa?

Sorry to disagree with recent posters but I have had really excellent service from the practice. If anything better than before Covid. Turn up on time for your appt - ring the bell - allowed in and given examination, blood test or whatever back out within minutes. Excellent telephone follow ups. No complaints here.

The reception staff are absolutely non-sympathetic to any situation specially if you're an ethnic minority. They refuse to help you specially after I kept telling then I'm having a mental melt down. They simply DO NOT care.

The Doctors are brilliant, attentive and show genuine interest in my health. Another GP diagnosed me with IBS and fobbed me off for 10 years but after only 6 months at Brinsley I was referred for tests and they confirmed Crohns and prescribed the correct medication after which I felt great. However, some of the receptionists are awful. They talk down to people, they're not welcoming and are quite rude. This seems to be a common problem at alot of GP practices around here. I understand they're under pressure but common courtesy costs nothing. The practice manager needs to sort it out.
