My wife had tests and scans done at newcross hospital to check for stomach problems and possible cancer.tests came back clear.but blood test showed B12 was low,and asked her doctors to carry out injections to build this up.they also requested her doctors to prescribe medication to stabilise a condition for diverticulitis disease. My wife contacted the medical practice for an appointment. To cover above.a telephone appointment was given.the appointment was carried out.the doctor said carry on with your Normal medication for a couple of months if you still have problems contact us.but book an appointment for a blood test.she has tried to get an appointment and was told sorry no appointments available try again in a couple of weeks. I find this ridiculous because in a couple of weeks she will probably get the same response. Where does she go from here.?

I called 27 times at 8am to try to get an appointment for my 18month old who is very poorly. Phone line kept cutting off. I then drove to the surgery at 8.30 to see someone in person, was in a queue, got triaged and then told to wait. I called at 11.30am to ask what the delay was and I was told the triage team don’t start until 12 noon At 12.05 I finally got a text with an afternoon appointment. When we did see the Doctor called Yusef he was so kind to my daughter and we were very thankful to him. But I really think this surgery needs to do better. The phone line needs a major overhaul. They need more staff on the phone line at busy times like a Monday morning. It comes across as though the reception staff don’t care about people’s health and it’s actually quite scary when all you want is a simple appointment for some antibiotics for your poorly child.

Phoned for docs appointment on Monday morn. Was asked if I could go to stafford as they have winter hub there. What is wrong with having winter hub at surgery. Was then told to keep my phone by me as I would be triaged. Who wants to go all the way to stafford, a 30minute drive there and back plus waiting time when you feel ill. I have always praised the practice especially having the winter hub at brewood but have gone down in my estimation.

Awful practice. Staff do not learn from the numerous complaints/meetings previously raised, even when escalated to Practice Manager. Zero communication. Zero compassion. Treatment of my extremely ill mother has been and continues to be beyond shocking. I feel for anyone who lives within the catchment area of this surgery.

Always very helpful and I bet they are always under pressure new phone system is not the best but its early days lady at Wheaton Aston is always helpful when I phone for my medication all doctors and staff have always been good to me and my wife thank you

Mom has recently moved into this area and immediately had a fall that resulted in stitches. I had to change the doctors in order for the wound to be dressed twice a week.
The service moms had has been outstanding and I have nothing but praise for the competency of the practice.

I’ve been with this medical practise for about 4 years and have never had an issue with booking appointments or getting in touch with them. Yes you have to wait a bit in the que but it’s great they can call you back so you don’t have to sit on the phone waiting.
If I’ve had any concerns regarding my 2 year old twin girls they’ve got them in that same day.
Also regarding appointments for me, again I’ve managed to get an appointment as soon as.
Never felt like they’ve tried to rush me out. Very polite and lovely staff

After moving to the area this doctors came highly recommended by a friend, we are no longer friends with this person due to that recommendation.
You will have to wait on average about 40 minutes to get through to a receptionist, and I have to call every 2 weeks so I'm not exaggerating, 40 minutes is a good day!
If you order a repeat prescription you could be told 48 hours or 72 depending on receptionist and you might get it signed off around the 96th hour. Absolute shocking service can't wait to find a new practice.
