Wont get a better practice. Extremely helpful ive been with this practice for 55yrs ive seen it through Dr Barry who was amazing, Dr Aung who helped so many patients and lived up to Dr Barry and now Dr Miles who like those before him is also fantastic as are all the staff at this wonderful practice

Such pleasant staff, made a nervous 88 year old man feel very at ease. These little things are important - now he feels more confident about going again. Also, surprised how quick it was to book appointments compared to other surgeries

I have been registered with this practice since 1997. I was a bit worried when Dr Aung retired, but I have found the excellent service has continued. I know the NHS are under stress and perhaps a few niceties have gone by the way; but compared to other local practices, they are still fantastic.

I have been a patient at this practice for 25 years, and like everyone I know, we are so grateful. Dr Aung is completely devoted to General Practice unlike very few of his colleagues nowadays. Only last week he saved the life of a friend in leaving a full surgery to attend a patient suffering from sepsis. I have seen him at thefuneral of a former patient in our village. He may not have a bedside manner but is conscientious to a point.
The main "selling point" of this surgery for patients is that you can always get an appointment the same day if necessary. We hear horror stories of other practices where you have to wait a week or more. I once asked the nurse why we have no problem getting an appointment and she put it down to limiting the number of patients to make it a manageable practice. We have our own nurses and do not have to go to the nearest hospital to have blood taken. As a country practice, we have a dispensary which is so convenient and runs like clockwork.

All the dispensers and reception staff are really lovely. We are all on first-name terms. I really do not know what happened to the person who was so unhappy as to give a bad review, but I do know they will not find a better practice anywhere.
I was looked after splendidly for 25 years by Dr Reynolds who is much missed but find her replacement, Dr Miles, excellent.

I disagree totally with Mr Men. I've been a patient for 28 years with this medical centre and always had the best care especially when i was diagnosed with a serious illness. Dr Aung has always treated and cared for all my family with the upmost respect during these hard times.

IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH OR A LOVED ONES HEALTH AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
Totally uninterested and useless, I ended up housebound and ill and they didn't give a monkeys.
The Male lead doctor is scruffy and makes up his money at Weston General last contact I had.
If on his salary he dresses like a scarecrow- he isn't going to spend money on patients.
The Female doctor is plain condescending and again will seek to minimise and avoid the issue.
The Doctors are a disgrace and I moved practices- I have since seen a specialist and things have improved.

I called and spoke to Carol on behalf of my mother. Neither of us are registered at this surgery but had been told my mother's results had been sent to East Brent in error. In a matter of minutes Carol had the matter under control, something which my mother's own surgery have failed to do despite 5 calls over the last 6 weeks. Carol - we can't thank you enough.
