I have used the walk in service twice since it opened, always had a wait, which you expect but recently visited with my daughter, who had excruciating earache.Well what an absolute joke.
Arrived at 5.30pm, waiting room full, told be 4 hrs wait. Fine. Got seen by triage at 7pm, not much movement in patients waiting.
2 rooms had GPS in, presuming they both taking calls, they saw zero patients the whole 6 hours we was there. 2 nurses on, 1 sat with a headset on, not seeing patients. The other seeing patients who had booked an appointment through 111...I didn't even know you could do that. And the odd one waiting.
I understand it is very busy & under staffed but to ignore patients waiting, have 3 people taking calls & then when you enquire were you are on the list your met with the triage nurse, who's sat chatting with the receptionist, rolling her eyes and giving dirty looks.
No communication at all. There is a sign saying patients seen in order of urgency, totally under that, but when the patients with 111 appointments have a swollen toe, a cough & temperature & a minor burn, how does that over take a lady with suspected blood clot whos been waiting 2 hours ?
Once we was seen by the 1 nurse, she was lovely and very helpful. I will try and avoid in the future.

Sat for 5 hours with my 15yr old with a suspected broken shoulder. It was cram packed with people being sick and coughing and spluttering all over. They were all seen before my son I walked out went to A&E and was seen immediately and yes he had a broken shoulder absolutely appaling. I think they need to rethink the service as common colds and stomach bugs should be ur GP or a pharmacy not a walk in centre

Bransholme urgent Treatment Centre is an excellent modern medical facility, very clean and bright. The gatekeeper was friendly and helpful. I was seen exactly at my appointment time. The nurse and her trainee were very efficient and friendly, an excellent service. There is a large free car park.

Reception staff was very friendly. Nurses was great and got seen very quickly. Had a little bit longer wait to see the gp but that was expected. Building was clean and bright. No negatives.

Absolutely fabulous nursing staff. Went in for the second time and they actually remembered me from a couple of weeks previous. I was triaged and had to have two nebulisers to get my oxygen levels safe. The nurses explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. I was referred to Hull Royal Infirmary and they did a letter for me to take there. I asked security if they could watch my car as I was concerned about leaving it there. They said it would be fine as they were there 24/7. Yes you have to wait to see a doctor, it's not their fault as the NHS is underfunded but I couldn't thank and praise them enough.

Wait wasn't so bad...2 hour wait..what feels like a trapped nerve in my right leg and after 4th day of this had enough.went to bransholme walk in centre...1st 2 days mixture of paracetamol and ibuprofen didn't make a dent on the pain. 3rd and 4th day zapain and naproxen did nothing to help..told doctor all this was told muscle damage and prescribed naproxen...absolute waste of time..have had a sore back before zapain and naproxen works really well on back pain but for a trapped nerve these 2 items done nothing...waste of time..disappointed so A and E try get a proper doctor this time

Really friendly staff. Not too long a wait and The children's nurse was amazing with my 3 year old. The building is full of natural light too which makes a positive difference.

Came in with my sister following an allergic reaction. Found the receptionists very rude and patronising. Wasn’t any help in a stressful situation and instead almost made us feel like we shouldn’t be there. Compared to the amazing ambulance staff too the receptionists were just not nice.
