We had a wonderful visit to Bransby horses. All the horses and donkeys looked happy and well cared for. They currently have a pumpkin patch, as it's October and we bought a couple of pumpkins. The food in the cafe was delicious, we had pancakes and maple syrup and came back later for spiced pumpkin milkshakes. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They also have an adventure playground and a lovely gift shop with new and secondhand items. Free entry but donations are welcome and of course all donations go to the upkeep of the wonderful animals there. Amazing day out, would highly recommend!

An absolutely brilliant day out - despite the rain. With the family being heavily involved with agriculture and equine, I know how important and amazing a charity and rescue centre like this is!

The staff, waitresses and facilities are all great. Clean and spacious shop, cafe and outdoor toilets. My ham, egg and chips were so tasty.

The map was helpful to work around all the horse paddocks - the little walkways were all clearly signposted and the horse paddocks were spaced out well. Didn’t get to see the donkeys but the horses and shetland ponies were plentiful!

Also, if you don’t know much about horses, there’s plenty of noticeboards and posters to teach you about the equine world!

Defo be returning!

What a wonderful place. I spent a lovely day there last week. They do such good things rescuing horses that are at risk and looking after them until they are in good health and able to be rehomed. The ones that are not suitable for rehoming are looked after until the very end.
One can walk around the spotless stables until exhausted, able to stroke and talk to the animals. They do not only save horses of all shapes and sizes but mules and donkeys too. The staff are friendly and very ready to answer all queries.
To add to all that there is a very good and welcoming cafe and well stocked charity shop.
If after your enjoyable visit you could make a small donation to help with vets bills and numerous expenses I know everyone there would be most grateful. Another idea would be to volunteer!!!

Lovely way to spend 3-4 hrs with pony mad tweens. Gift shop, coffee shop and second hand shop. Can buy activity trails for the walk round. A number of the fields were empty during this visit which may have meant they were being rested - although it would've been nice to have been able to see a few more ponies, we enjoyed the ones we could see. Nice picnic lunch at the play area.

I often visit Bransby. The atmosphere is lovely and it is so nice to see the horses and donkeys so happy. I take my dogs and they enjoy it too. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The cafe has a good selection and it's very reasonably priced. There is also a small shop with some interesting items for sale.

loved this place, took my Grande for her first time going! The horses, although not very interactive, were very friendly when they came close. I was particularly fond of this one white Shetland who laid her head in my lap and drooled. The staff in the cafe are absolutely lovely and the food was great too! Will definitely be coming again!
