I have worked for Blubird Care for two and a half years, I had no care experience and was very nervous doing such an important job.
The training was brilliant and gave me confidence. I can definitely say this job is the best job I have ever had and the most rewarding.
Bluebird Care are a great company to work for all the carers are amazing at what they do and the office staff are very supportive and always on the end of a phone if any advise or help is needed.
I would recommend this company to work for and to also have them care for your loved ones.

The office staff are very organised and do their best to please customers with the times they prefer. This is the only Home Care Company to work for In Eastbourne. I have been utterly impressed with the Registered Care Manager Valerie Holland who is so dedicated to her job in terms of the care provided for loved ones and for her staff. I have never seen this level of dedication in all my working life. As a newer member of staff, the training has been exceptional and unlike almost any home care agency I researched in the area prior to being offered the job ; Bluebird Care pay you a decent contribution to your mileage and you are also paid whilst travelling between clients.

The majority of the Home care providers do not pay travelling time in between calls. Also I came across home care agencies in the area that were advertising very attractive rates of pay... Only to be told when I called them that that level of pay was only for working on bank holidays..and in reality I would be paid a basic wage.

My training is paid, I earn a good rate of pay, I am paid more than adequately for mileage and I am paid inbetween calls.

One thing I didn't realise is that bluebird Care provide everything from home calls to live in Care and so there can be a seamless process with the clients needing very litlle support in the early days to increasing support as and when needed; all the way to live in care if needed. Therefore there is no need for dealing with different companies and agencies as the clients' needs become greater. I would not hesitate to use them for my own parents as and when the need arises.

It was also refreshing to know that many of people in the team had never worked in the Home Care Industry before and neither had I . I was made to feel welcome and appreciated in my role . The majority of the team have worked there for years which tells you something and they love their jobs!
So whether you are looking for a new job or looking for someone to provide care for your loved ones you are in the right place.

I have worked for bluebirdcare Eastbourne&Wealden for nearly 3 years, the care and support I have received in my role is second to none. The training is ongoing and thorough by the incredible management team. I was supported and safeguarded throughout my pregnancy and maternity leave and was even promoted to a senior carer after coming back! Career development is there if you seek it. The hours are so flexible, particularly for those with children and the pay rates are fantastic for the care industry. The level of care provided is of the highest quality as we all truely love our jobs and our customers ⭐️

Bluebird live-in carers have cared for my mother for 6 years and we very much hope they will continue. Mum is 94, has limited mobility and declining cognitive powers. She can be demanding and hard to please, but the Bluebird team do their utmost to find carers with the right fit of personality to put Mum at ease. If there is a clash of personalities, they readily replace the carer with someone who suits Mum's needs well. The carers are extremely well trained in every aspect of care and without fail go the extra mile to ensure my mother's safety, health and happiness, often forming a warm friendship with her. As with every relationship, it is a two-way thing and as a family we are supportive of Mum's carers. We understand the various challenges they face and the responsibilities they bear. We believe this understanding enables them to give Mum the best care possible. Bluebird Eastbourne is a highly professional organisation, they completely appreciate Mum's needs and I recommend them without reservation.
