I had a really good experience at the walk in. After suffering an on going illness, I was seen promptly by a GP and was diagnosed with a chest infection. Sorted out anti biotics that were sent to my local chemist. All the staff. receptionist, Nurse and Doctor were great. Thank you.

What a brilliant service on our doorstep. Had an appointment at the dressings clinic today at 4 00. Arrived at 3.45, called in within seconds. Nurse Jackie was wonderful, caring & very thorough. Explained everything, wound dressed, out by 4.10. Excellent, thank you.

Can’t speak for all doctors/nurses. The one I got yesterday clearly has eyesight issues as she let me go and said there was nothing wrong with my throat however I return home and the full back of my throat is white? Opticians check up clearly needed and neglecting patients due to them being out of the Blaydon-On-Tyne area. Went to a different doctor this morning and the issue was identified immediately and the correct medication was given.

I spoke to a very rude practitioner. Very passive and unhelpful. Used terms such as ‘not sure what you want us to do’. Usually have a decent experience with Blaydon but this lady should not be in the job that she is in. I work in healthcare and would not dream of speaking to people like that.

Reception staff were friendly and the nurse(?) who dealt with me was empathetic, efficient and caring. I was only waiting about an hour which is a lot quicker than a&e and got the correct attention and care I needed- I even left with antibiotics as opposed to a prescription that I have to go pick up myself from elsewhere. Great place!

It is so refreshing to have a doctor sit and really take the time to listen to you.
I'm used to a doctor not even looking at me in the face when talking, preferring to stare at a computer screen and check their watch.
The doctor and nurse I saw here were absolutely lovely, and I felt heard.
I am very happy with the service I received, I just wish I got their names so I could mention them.

An asset to the NHS, very friendly staff and great wait time. After days of being fobbed off by my pharmacy and doctors I decided to come here, it was the best decision Ive made. Within 30 minutes of arriving I was checked in, waited and called through to see a nurse, diagnosed and gave a prescription to take away. Both the man on reception and the nurse were absolutely lovely and sympathetic, I finally felt like I was being heard rather than just fobbed off. Only draw back was the lack of parking but it’s inside a very busy leisure centre so that’s understandable.
