I'm shocked about some of the reviews about the receptionists at this surgery. Pauline & tara who l speak with the most are lovely and if l have any issues they are quick to sort them out they are nice and approachable and never once spoken to me in an unprofessional or unpleasant way. Its likely the receptionists who are sorting out things for you if issues arise so treat them how you would like to be treated yourself. They are the first people likely to suffer abuse from patients which isn't acceptable in any job role.They go above and beyond show them some respect. X

Been with them for over forty years and I have always been treated well. Only problem I have had was trying to get through by telephone but that seems to have been rectified now

I was registered with this scam of a doctors practice for 5 years could never book an appointment online within 6 weeks and never a face to face appointment..if you phone the surgery your on hold for 2 hours only to be told no appointments and to call back tomorrow and the cycle repeats. I eventually registered with a different surgery a couple of miles away and phoned for appointment and they answered the phone and got me a face to face appointment the same day.
This practice isn’t fit for purpose.

Receptionist seems to think she can speak to me like I’m a delinquent school child trying to scrounge some illegal drugs,
Clearly has her own personality issues and not fit to dealing with people who are only ringing up for help.
Give a sad idiot some power and they seem to think they are above the rest of us.
Clearly not suitable for such a job and would be better applying to be a traffic warden.
Incident happened 12th March at 5pm so you will know who was answering the phone at that time.

Appalling absolutely appalling . So called medical people at this surgery that neither can fill a form out with the correct information regarding time and date of a death or be bothered to attend a death . Instead they let a receptionist take my anger as the practice manager or doctor refused to come to the phone. I may also state it took 7 attempts to even get through and at least 50 mins holding on.
I've had 2 weeks of hell still not had my father cremated and incompetence like this just shows how good (NOT) this surgery is.

Joined this GP practice within last year re moving house and so far I can't fault them. Every time I've called I've got an appointment that day. Yes you do have to wait in a long queue to get through first thing but never had any problems getting an appointment. The doctors I have seen have all been lovely as well. Definitely recommend this GP

On phone for an hour this morning trying to get a telephone appointment with the doctor no-one answering the phone said 1 in queue but still same an hour later eventually got through by pressing another number to be told been answering calls all morning but when asked why if it said 1 in queue surely should have got through before an hour if they were answering other calls why say 1 in queue. Nobody got a good word to say for this surgery especially ringing to get through and no appointments. Surely if Doctors read these reviews they should be able to see that something should be done. No stars absolutely terrible surgery.

This is the worst booking Service I have ever come across, people are aware it take ages to get through, then when you do get through no appointments, call back tomorrow, can't book a day in advanced absolutely shocking, next available appointment end of December 6 weeks away I just don't get their system is baffles me. I called to book my mum an appointment at her local surgery in cleckheaton, phone answered within 3 rings, booked appointment straight away. The way this surgery is run is ridiculous, I have also witnessed when completing a prescription form an elderly lady walked in to make an appointment to be seen that day she was in agony holding her arm and they told her to go away and call in to book an appointment horrendous felt so sorry for the old lady. Once you finally see a Doctor or Nurse they are great but the admin / booking system is shocking and needs sorting out ASAP
