Outstanding Customer Service Experience!

I recently visited the doctor’s surgery and had the pleasure of being assisted by Zohib. From the moment I walked in, his exceptional professionalism and warm demeanor stood out. He made the entire process, from booking the appointment to managing paperwork, incredibly smooth and stress-free.

Zohib’s ability to communicate clearly and efficiently ensured that I felt informed and comfortable throughout my visit. He took the time to answer all of my questions with patience and kindness, which I truly appreciated.

What impressed me most was his genuine commitment to ensuring that every patient felt valued and cared for. It’s not often you encounter someone who goes above and beyond, but Zohib exceeded my expectations in every way. His attentiveness and proactive approach made a real difference to my experience.

I highly recommend this surgery, and especially Zohib, for anyone seeking not only top-notch medical care but also outstanding customer service. Thank you, Zohib, for making my visit a positive one!

The worst clinic I have ever come across
I am surprised we have such clinics in UK. the receptionist whose is the main person to be in touch with patients is so rude and everytime there is a miscommunication. Just wasting our time
No smile on the face or is professionalism
Rarely there is patients around clinic still they have no appointment dates and need to wait for 4 weeks

Nurse Jenifer is the best staff member in this surgery. She is very kind, patient, professional, lovely and friendly. She is always cooperative and helpful. I would give her 10 stars if I can.
The reception staff, on the other hand are very rude, aggressive and careless. They are the worst staff I have ever seen. I would give them minus stars if I can.

Yet again I feel I have to write another review, I am totally horrified with the injustice of some of the reviews. The reception staff at Birkby Surgery are amazing, they go out of their way to be helpful, I can imagine it's very hard for front of line staff to correlate and prioritise each patient according to their needs, I myself could not get an appointment one day, but I understand, that someone had priority over my concerns, that is understandable and I was totally fine about it, have trust in the reception staff, I can guarantee they will have had considerable amount of training, which will be ongoing to deal with this very important part of their job role. Just have faith in them I certainly do. They do a fantastic job and should be praised for that instead of slandered, I find all the reception staff extremely polite and at no time EVER, i have encountered any rudeness, this is from a patient of which has attended the surgery for over 30 years.
Please be assured all the staff are well mannered and respectful and I feel in return they should be also.

Dr Kaliq is so amazing. She goes the extra mile for her patients and truly cares about each and everyone of us. Her patients comes first without a shadow of a doubt. She really listens and understands and has so much patience. I wouldn't be where I am today without the support, guidance and advice from Dr Kaliq, she even stayed an extra hour after the closing of the surgery, to make sure me and another patient had been seen, I feel I am so lucky to have such an absolute amazing doctor, whose dedication to her role, has no boundaries.

I have been registered at this practice for several months and I have found both the admin staff, doctors and nurses to be very helpful. I’m able to get through on the phone quite easily and manage to get an appointment to whatever suits my availability. All the staff are professional and kind and I would definitely recommend this surgery

If I could give it minus I would! This place is an absolute disgrace. Most if not all the receptionist are rude and arrogant! Patient satisfaction should come first and should be utmost priority but these people only seem to care about themselves and there is zero amount of respect! The doctors are ridiculously horrible too. There is no regard for elders. They take a long time to give you an appointment and then when the patient has only taken 5 minutes and wants to address another problem they say book another appointment as we only deal with one issue at a time!!! What a complete joke! So if their own parents came in with more than one issue I guarantee it wont be the same stance for them. Double standards!! Stay away. Better surgeries elsewhere. Even if you have to travel far I say do it to avoid this place!
They have more meetings and are closed more than they are open! What exactly is discussed in these meetings? They clearly need a new set of doctors and receptionists! They are all badly trained or have not been taught how to talk to their patients!

I really don't recommend this Centre. I guess the receptionist seriously needs some training to learn how to respect people. She was saying to me to find another Clinic if I'm unhappy with her rude behaviour. Did she think she is offering free service? Not only I paid health surcharge but also paying tax and national insurance. I guess whatever her culture is, she needs to understand that this is UK; things are different.

Rucksar, who performed my blood tests on the same day as my appointment, was not only friendly but also highly professional. The swiftness and efficiency of this process, while maintaining a comforting bedside manner, further highlights the Center’s exceptional patient care.

The whole ambiance of the Health Centre itself is pristine, organized, and designed with patients’ comfort in mind. It complements the wonderful team that operates within its walls.
