Best Western Plus Bentley Hotel & Spa

I’ll start by saying the staff is very lovely and helpful. But my god, the rest of it needs a refresh. The whole thing is so outdated, it feels like something from the shining. The pool was completely closed off for the 2 nights we were there, we were told this a few days before, baring in mind we booked the hotel for its facilities, in particular the pool. We got upgraded to one of the suites but there were so many issues still. The hot water wasn’t working on the first night, and the shower was leaking. The bathtub was stained, so were the curtains in the room. The fridge in the room was so noisy at night we had to turn it off. The next morning at breakfast, the table linen was stained. There are no plugs next to the bed No one came to clean our room either.. The fact that they’re charging what they’re charging for this kind of service and amenities is insane. Again, the staff is lovely and it really made a difference but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Had a two week stay here as part of a training course for work . Staff was very friendly and polite. The facilities were very good and the food was lovely with a great selection. In particular jo (front of house) looked after us throughout the two weeks was friendly funny and all round lovely person she is an asset to the hotel.

We would like to say thank you to Hayley and the team at the Bentley. We had our Ruby wedding here recently. Everything was perfect, from the decorated tables to the food. Very impressed with the service we received. The staff were all helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they did a brilliant job. Over several weeks of communicating and us changing and updating our plans, it all came together. Thank you. We would recommend to use as a venue and would definitely be happy to come here again.

We booked this as a last minute option as I can no longer manage stairs. I have MS and no longer walk. I am now disabled and require accessibility. The service was great. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. The food was great too (we had the breakfast) with plenty of choice, and cooked well. The main reception was an inviting space; clean and fresh. And then we get to the rooms. They were clean and tidy, but they were 'tired'. We had a twin room but the beds were of different comfort levels; I suspect because with one of them the mattress was near it's end of life. Everything was just tired, and probably could do with a refresh. Even in the breakfast room areas of the room were showing signs of being tired. All in all, it was only 1 night so I didn't feel it warranted any complaint. I don't think I would have tolerated it for more 2 nights though.

A pleasant stay, good food and excellent service. Your front of house 'Jo' is a superstar, she always made us feel very welcome and taken care of. Look forward to the next visit

Staff very helpful, the rooms are comfortable. Décor can be a little old, but the bed was comfortable. The shower / water / shower head was not very good. It was so full of limescale the spray was very uneven. I managed to get a shower, but it was memorable for all the wrong reasons.

Doesn't look appealing from the outside. However, nice and clean and pleasant staff. our room was close to the road the noise from the traffic at times was quite loud. breakfast catered for all and was very nice ,all facilities were not available we was pre warned of this would use again ?

The staff are always lovely and even though the pool facilities were closed I was able to book a lovely leg massage in the beauty spa by Simone and a great haircut by Cheryl. So Thankyou so much, and I look forward to the new and improved pool facilities :-)
