We feel exceptionally lucky to be registered with this surgery. We are able to book appointments urgently when needed. The reception staff are kind and helpful. GPs really take the time to listen, explain any diagnosis or treatment and always follow up with what they've said they will do.

I was extremely happy with the service and care I received from Mrs Angie Hannam on 26 August 2025 when having blood tests.
The results of the various tests were record on my NHS app well within the 7 working days.

I recently moved to the area and chose Berrylands Surgery based on the many positive reviews. Today was my first visit for a blood test. A few months ago, my previous GP flagged some abnormal results and advised me to repeat the test — this time including fasting and checking for cholesterol and diabetes.

When the nurse called me in, I asked whether this was for a full blood test, as that’s what my previous GP had requested. Her response was dismissive and unhelpful — she scoffed and said, “There’s no such thing as a full blood test.” As someone without a medical background, I found this condescending. I explained my situation and that I was simply following instructions from my last GP, but she showed little interest and made no effort to clarify or assist. Instead, she just told me to book another appointment with the GP to request cholesterol and diabetes tests separately. So much for efficiency.

I left the appointment feeling quite disappointed and lacking confidence in the care provided. I had hoped for a more supportive and understanding approach, especially as a new patient. Hopefully, this was just a one-off experience and not reflective of the wider practice.

Berrylands surgery are the best! I’m very privileged to have this GP service, the doctors and receptionists are very knowledgeable caring and considerate. They treat you as an individual not a number! They CARE! I would thoroughly recommend them. They are simply the BEST!!!

Amazing practice, I’ve had really good personal experiences with Dr Bowyer, Dr Shepherd and Dr Hughes especially, they are thorough with us as a family and the reception staff are amazing too, Sally is amazing on reception and Carolyn and Betsy the nurses are also a credit to the surgery from my personal experience. Very happy.

This surgery is by far the friendliest practice I've been to in the 10 years I have lived in the UK. All of the staff are very friendly and I was cared for very well. I felt that the GP doctors really listened to my concerns and referred me to specialists promptly which I felt deeply grateful for.

I have been a patient of Berrylands Surgery for over 10years and I have always received first class treatment and service. Even when I have needed an appointment it is a very easy process and in my experience I have always been seen or received a phone consultation within a few hours. I saw my GP for a medication and consultation review in the last two weeks. As usual, I had a first class experience. The doctor I saw was his usual apologetic self for running a bit late (no apology was necessary in my view) and the consultation and treatment I received was excellent as always.
