It's great that there are now various options to ensure you get the help you need without blocking phone lines etc needed by people requiring same day appointments. I sent a request via email and got a response and perfect resolution in less than 24hrs. We have been very happy with the doctors over the years and have received excellent care for our family. I must write a review on a particular Dr Georgia Woodburn because she is just so fantastic. The most validating, kind, knowledgeable GP I’ve ever had. As someone with several invisible illness’ it’s been hard over the years to meet a GP who truly believes you and as she does, she requested tests, support and advice and uncovered several health issues which I’m now getting support with. I can’t thank her enough, she really is sooo wonderful.

Seems to be a few negative reviews but that's not my current position. Been with the surgery a few months now and they have been great. Mostly to do with my disabled son but have always managed to get a quick appointment. Have had good chats about meds. They contact me back when they say they will and the call back service is great. Doctors at times can be busier than we see. Most patients only see the doctor in surgery but behind the scenes I am sure there is a lot going on. I don't expect doctors just do the actual patients apointments so got to give some leniency there. So far I've not had an issue.

It's a joke, I wanted needed a blood test. You used to just get a slip from GP go the hospital & wait your turn. Now you have to phone up, get GP to call back then try & arrange appointment, which could be weeks later!
After a recent seizure I needed an appointment, managed to get one couple of days later. The GP was 5-10 mins late (this was first thing in morning) completely uninterested, couldn't give me eye contact & after 15 mins just said my next patients due!

Can’t recommend this doctors. There’s always something wrong. Almost always late being called into appointments.

Today I got here for 3:30 for our 4pm appointment. Still not seen at 4:40. I’ve called reception who told me the doctor skipped us and went onto the next patient without explanation.

I’m here to get my 3 month olds breathing checked as she’s very poorly, we weren’t called in as I’ve been sat in the correct waiting room for over an hour!

This seems to be a running thing here. Earlier his month came in for babies jabs , was the first appointment of the day and was called in 50 minutes late….

I have been with Berkeley Place Surgery for about 4 years now and every single time I call up I am given the most amazing care. Starting with an incredibly sympathetic and hard working reception, to doctors and nurses who take the time to listen to me and my family and diagnose correctly. Everyone seems to have the mentality of going above and beyond.
It is honestly the best surgery I have ever been at and appreciate all their hard work.
