Belvidere Medical Practice

This practice has been classed as ‘Outstanding’ by the evaluating body and it’s easy to see why. The GPs are caring and understanding as are the reception staff who, contrary to reputations, I find incredibly polite and helpful too. There is a bigger variety of clinics held there now saving trips to hospitals etc. The only downside is the same as it is everywhere; huge patient list meaning longer waits for an appointment but there’s not a lot they can do about that.

As a family we’ve only been with this practise for 15 months, but the last 9 of those months has been during a terminal cancer diagnosis for my wife. It’s been heartbreakingly tough but one thing that has never been an issue is the support from our GP practise. They have been flexible, responsive throughout but as importantly just deep-down kind and courteous. Thanks to the back room staff that keep it ticking but also to Dr Eardly for her quick and kind help, every time.

After moving to Belvidere after a poor experience at my previous practice, I felt so relieved to have got an appointment within a couple of weeks, made to feel welcome by receptionists and really listened too by my GP. It was my first appointment, but if things remain the same, I’ll be glad to have moved to such an excellent practice- thank you

I'm so lucky to be a patient of Belvidere Medical Practice. The waiting times are short, super helpful and the majority of the GPs are great. Dr Pradhan, Dr Earley and Dr Caily are amazing and always give you the opportunity to explain and they listen and I'm so grateful to them. The reception team are always so friendly and happy to help. I have my b12 injections every 10 weeks and I have the same HCA everytime and ages fantastic, always makes conversation, Smiley and very skilled. Thankyou Belvidere.

Always get excellent service from Belvedere Practice. All the staff are very pleasant , helpful and courteous. In addition you are generally seen on time, which I don’t always expect seeing how busy the surgery is - definitely a testimony to how well it is managed. The Doctors and Nurses that I have seen have all been helpful and kind. Dr Cumberlidge stands out in particular. I have seen her a few times now and find her to be incredibly empathetic, understanding and efficient. So lucky that this is my local practice.

I wanted to pass on my special thanks to all the staff at Belvidere Medical Practice. Dr. Cumberlidge assessed me in morning practice after suffering extreme back pain. It was her inquisitive investigation and persistent urgency that resulted in me being admitted to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital on the same day and being urgently treated for a rare serious back condition. On admission, the consultant commented to me how it was impressive that my Dr. had correctly identified something had not been right and thus referred me for extra checks so urgently. I’m so grateful that I have a Doctors practice that is outstanding in its field and through their diligence and care has been able to get me on the road to recovery so speedily. They have also been exceptional in their care for my elderly mother over many years, who is at the same practice. We always feel that everyone at the practice including the Doctors, Nurses and Reception staff have always gone above and beyond when medical help is required, which we are thankfully for as a family.

I had a really positive experience at this surgery, check in was quick and the lady in reception was very helpful!

Lovely receptionists! After an awful experience at a different local practice, I rang in tears asking for help to get my baby’s third set of vaccines. The ladies reassured me, helped register both of us there and then, and got her an appointment all within 10 minutes. They were compassionate and friendly!
