I was really nervous before the makeup that whether Laura will understand my skin tone or not as I saw her profile and her mostly clients were British or non Asian…and I am Indian so was not sure about how it will go…but she makes me so comfortable and done a fabulous makeup…everyone praised me in the party for my makeup..so Thank you so much Laura for the beautiful makeup that you done for me….highly recommended..

We had an amazing wedding on July 12th at Prestwold Hall and it was made super special knowing that on the day we would all look our best and Laura and Curtis didn't disapoint .We had a trial session a week before and Rosie felt so much more at ease having agreed both hair and makeup in advance. Have had a few sessions of Reiki here with Zaria which have been amazing. Lovely calming room and venue. Zaria is friendly and welcoming, taking time to discuss the treatment plan. I have left each session feeling lighter, more relaxed and feeling the benefits of an hours treatment. I love the addition of crystals and sound therapy too.

So the big day has come, and the bride is nervous. A year and bit of planning, getting all the people together who will celebrate with us, and want to see the bride all in white, make up to enhance her beauty. And you have agreed with a beautician to come over in the morning and do the make up of the bride and her bridesmaids.

And then nothing. Calling her, she doesn't answer. Then eventually, myself and bride,  got a message that she has Covid. Well shiver me timbers! That old chestnut

If she had us booked, a really professional make up beautician would have actually made contact with us, letting us know of the situation. Maybe even tell us of an alternative professional who would actually do the job.

Well, we have it in writing, the booking was confirmed and that she will at our house doing the make up. But another of her excuses will be that she then proceed to tell us that they do not attend to a customer without having done a pre trial exercise. Firstly, that was never confirmed with the bride and secondly, nowhere on their website states that it is mandatory. So again, the excuses pile up.

There are reasons for not being able to do the pre trial make up, and that was due to distance, timings and extreme health issue with one of the bridesmaids. So with that, my bride decided not to go with it. I mean, if she is as professional as she makes out to be, then yeah, she could knock it out the park on a whim

But as her website says, she is scatty. I believe that to be true and that she has forgotten to book my bride in, and cannot get over her pride to actually give an apology.

So I do not recommend this scatty establishment and I also would recommend that you do put things in writing with her or else you will not get anywhere with her. Or just choose someone else who will not let you down on your big day.

Thankfully, between 4 women, they did it with love and care, and the bride was the most beautiful bride in the whole wide world. You missed Laura, you missed out.

My daughter had a pamper birthday party there with 5 friends and absolutely loved it! They said Alana and Amber were very attentive and made them feel like queens and they had the best time ever!

Fantastic salon.Laura and Allana extremely patient with me as I've had allergic reactions previously to lashes and nails. Took the time to research and ensure the products they used were safe and look absolutely amazing . I will not go anywhere else now.
