Never have managed to get a dr appointment. I don’t have time to phone at 8:30 and hold on in a queue of 30. I have a job. You ask for a call back that’s ok but then you’re busy . When you phone back about the missed call you’re told that you need to make an appointment- @ 8:30 . Omg fml. The nurses are good and an appointment is ok . I just really want a discussion with a dr face to face. I feel like we’re still in covid times .
Give up !!

Kept asking to be referred to hospital about lumps in my neck and throat but kept getting fobbed off for months on end. When I finally lost my temper they said they would refer me but took me off their books and changed my address so I could not recieve any letters from the hospital, not that they actually referred me any way. A year later and I finally got the treatment I needed and lumps removed from my vocal chord, tongue and tonsil. This surgery needs investigating.

You will be dead by the time this lot get back to you. The practice manager is unhelpful, lacks empathy and just gets on the defensive with any constructive criticism. The phone system is a complete joke. This surgery went from being one of the best to something extraordinarily awful. They missed my diabetes diagnosis from my blood test results- I had to call them and tell them and my last blood results showed abnormalities and I have called and am still waiting on a call back from 4 weeks ago as they haven’t picked up on this either. Just awful. Such a shame as the doctors and nurses are all friendly. The management of this group is the problem and needs to go.
** Latest update - it gets better. Trying to make an appointment this morning. 8.30 on the dot, I'm in the queue. Number 30.......30 minute wait time. Then, instead of moving up the queue, I'm moving down!! I'm now 35 in the queue :-):-) Maybe the practice manager has read my Google review. You couldn't make this up. Yes, I can opt for a call back, but like many people at work, I often can't take the call. I could use Engage Consult, but that's not working because they are merging with Hill Surgery - great, so building on already highly inefficient base. Its going to get worse. This is a complete joke - when will someone fix it Also note absolutely no comment from the management on here.

I am deeply disappointed with this Surgery, the GPs and the Staff not give the correct care towards the patients and not keeping up with regular checkups when patients have serious illnesses. My mum Margaret Moore is one of your patients and within the last 3 years or more, she hasn't had regular checkups, due to her health conditions with her heart issues, diabetes, COPD etc. you are not giving patient care, when having to fight every time, iver for appointment or for a professional to come a visit my mum, as she is housebound and when i do receive appointments, it gets cancelled or they just keep sending a nurse out, then they cancel. My mum is meant to have regular checkups, when it comes to her medication, diabetes, blood pressure COPD. The incompetence of your practice is disgusting and is indeed appalling and doesn't show good practice towards patients care or faith.

Kind regards

Annabelle Moore

It can be frustrating getting through and booking an appointment but I believe most GP surgeries have this same problem. Reception staff are always helpful and polite and the GP's I have seen are knowledgeable, dedicated and genuinely seem to care about their patients. I have been very well supported by this surgery during a worrying time health-wise. I would like to say thank you to everyone at Beaconsfield Rd surgery for your efforts and service to the community during these difficult times.

I have been very impressed with this GP surgery so far. They use an online registration system which was very easy and worked quickly. The reception team were very friendly and helpful. They are LGBTQ+ sensitive and safe. They knew what to do to help me sort out my repeat prescriptions and then the GP was very good, calling me soon after and not only had she checked about what alternative she could prescribe for my unusual medication (which some GPs refuse to even prescribe!) but she had checked what pharmacy had it in stock before sending my prescription there. The reception team also listened to a concern I had and booked me to see a very kind physio who has referred me for x ray.
Just all round efficient, knowledgeable and kind.

This surgery is disrupting the course of medication I have to take, during their amalgamation with Harold rod surgery they suspended my ability to order my monthly repeat prescription on line. They did not text to give this information to me. I was told to talk direct with Laycock pharmacy who after not getting meds delivered tell me the prescription was cancelled. Very very unhappy here...
