AMAZING G.P's and practice. I feel very blessed to have found such a wonderful surgery, from the receptionist's down to the Doctors. I have mental health issues and the care I've received has been exemplary, not just that, but with physical issues too. I've spoken with 4 different g.p's and seen one doctor in person and I recieved the same standard of treatment with each of them. Beaconsfield are a beacon of best practice as far as I'm concerned. Thank you.

I was very happy with the service today. I popped by in the morning on the off chance someone could help with my sudden hearing loss.
The receptionist (I don't recall her name, but she was the GP receptionist at 8 a.m. on 14th Oct 2024) booked me in with Claudine the same day.
Claudine was great and had a treatment plan for me and a referral to the ENT specialist sorted by lunchtime, ringing twice to get hold of me once she'd managed to speak to them after the appointment.
Considering how hard it can be to get a quick appointment sometimes, I was either lucky or it was a case of both the receptionist and the ANP deciding it was something to deal with quickly - and then doing so. I've been before for less important things and been given an appointment for several days later, which was understandable. So even though you don't always get seen the same day, it's nice that when something comes along that is potentially serious, they recognise it and do what they can to help. Thank you:-)

The service & care myself and partner have received thus far from this Practice has been phenomenal. Compared to my previous GP practice, Beaconsfield are quick & efficient, caring, and professional. I have a few medical issues and they have been amazing at taking me seriously and providing the appropriate care. I find their online systems simple to navigate also.

It is incredibly hard to get appointments, especially for neurodivergent people like me, and when you do the doctors are patronising and make you feel like what you are experiencing is in your head, you have to beg for referrals and they never do physical exams.
I've been with them for more than 2 years and it is just getting worse.

Update 25 Nov 2024:
I want to give minus stars!
This dreadful booking system is made against the needs of sick and disabled people.

I've been on the phone for an hour on hold. I was given my queue number and they kicked me out of the call now and then, so I had to call back to go back in the queue. This happened around 15 times in a single call! I was finally number one in the queue, and they closed the call!! I called back, and guess what, I was number 19 in the queue, at number 12 they closed my call again. It's so upsetting that these are the people we depend on.

I am so impressed with Beaconsfield Medical Practice as a relatively new patient, as I had to change GP's after 32+ years, after upsetting and shocking treatment from Stanford Medical Practice, (located just 2 floors below.)

Beaconsfield Medical, have been first class in all aspects of care and attention and follow-up. Dr Nicola Myers, Dr Annie Sturge and Dr Oliver Madison have been just amazing. Not forgetting the caring nurses and 5 Stars also, to Hugo on reception too, who is so efficient and always there to ensure things are sorted out, if you cannot get an appointment face to face, a Doctor will always phone you for assessment and get you in if they think you need seeing face to face. Top service all around!

* RECEPTIONISTS NEED REPLACING! *

Writing on behalf of my Partner as she’s very upset. She called the practice, looking to book a short phone appointment with a Doctor regarding a medical problem. The phone was answered by an extremely unwelcoming, rude lady (didn’t get her name), who had some strange sort of power-trip. The lady was rushing my partner as she clearly couldn’t be bothered to do her a job to any sort of standard. And having now read the reviews regarding the receptionists at this practice, that would come as no surprise. She assured my partner - in a condescending, passive aggressive manner - that there were no doctors available today and to call back tomorrow. And, ‘unless it’s an emergency, there won’t be any doctors available’. Which is strange as it is new news to me that GPs are only for emergencies. We then decided to call back not 5 minutes later as I thought this seemed wrong. A very pleasant, helpful man (I didn’t get his name) answered. We said the exact same things to him, and he actually let us elaborate on the medical problem - unlike the lady. And surprise surprise, there were no issues. He booked my partner in for a phone appointment, to be called with in a few hours. So the lady quite literally lied!? I mean, it really is disgusting. Poor customer service does happen, and I guess that’s life. But when it comes to people’s health, and you get treated like that - with such negligence - it’s nothing short of disgraceful. I really hope and urge any kind of senior staff at the practice to read this review, and the other numerous similar reviews, and to actually do something about it.

Update: It gets worse, there used to be an email for repeat prescriptions it was easy I got the hang of it, but you can't use it now, I went 8 days with out knowing, you had to phone and check sometimes but at least it worked. Now they want you to "Get The App" or 'book online' at the website. I'm not doing Apps anymore or NHS or otherwise.
The Phone Line Keeps Crashing! It rings then goes to a constant tone. I wouldn't be surprised if it hasn't cost someone their life trying to get through. This has happened multiple times to me. Please report it to them. Just waiting in the waiting room listening to all the poor people's stories at check in basically the above on repeat, and worse online interactions, go through all the sign up but no appointments.

Used to be able to book an appointment if I rang up at 8am, instead line jusy goes dead and the only choice you have is to hang up. I have to ring in the middle of the day and say it's an emergency, even then I don't really get much out of an appointment and the receptionists can be quite antagonising. I called yesterday and called today, both times phone is cut off on me.
