Moved into Crowborough a couple of months ago. Spoke to Dr Pace by telephone appointment and saw Dr Ash in the medical centre. Both doctors are very kind and helpful. Dr Ash was one of the best doctors I’ve ever met. The centre was very clean and modern. Receptionist were also very kind and helpful. A lot of information on the screen in the waiting room. I’m very pleased to be registered at Beacon Surgery.

I am very pleased with the service I have received in the last few months. I have managed to get through on the phone within 10 mins, admittedly I call after midday. I have had great treatment from reception staff, practice nurse and the GP. However, personally I would like the option, like pre pandemic, of being able to book an appointment in person at reception.

Fantastic GP surgery. I’ve always had excellent care.

Minor illnesses like sinusitis and ear infections are able to be treated by the Nurse Practitioners (who have been great) and Pharmacists are helping with medication reviews. Dr Pace is a wonderful GP.

I know first hand that GP surgeries are under immense pressure, mainly due to inadequate funding for the level of patient needs and demand. The Beacon Surgery manages exceptionally well given the playing field.

My Elderly Mother who suffers with osteoarthritis and is a full time caregiver to my father with dementia, also a patient of the surgery for 40+ years, called up to receive the msg she was told dr pace had left for her at reception, the receptionist reeled out the message including the content of dr pace saying for there to see a junior dr instead because she is attention seeker!! When mum flabbergasted asked for her to repeat the message the receptionist magically left that part out!! I won’t go into the the negligence of basic care she has suffered.
We mustn’t be rude to reception dragons or Drs but they are allowed to be rude about patients. Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing! I wish she would move to an adequate caring surgery.

Have always had great experiences at this surgery. Yes, it can be hard to get through in the mornings on the phone, but every surgery I've been registered at has been like that! Regardless of that I've always been able to have either a face-to-face or telephone consultation within 24hr (excluding weekends, of course).

The doctors are all fantastic, really take the time to listen to you, and I've never had any issues from the receptionists (Lynn is a sweetheart! Always makes me laugh and calms down any of my anxieties).

Dreadful system for making an appointment. They let you wait on the phone for 45 mins, ie from 8am till 8.45 and when your turn comes they tell you there is no appointment left and to call again the next day. Surely, once they run out of appointments they could leave a recorded message to let people know the situation instead of a robot advising you your place in the queue.

My parents and I are registered at this surgery. Under very stressful circumstances the reception team and secretaries have always helped as much as they can.The HCA’s and Nurses are always kind and caring. Dr Sutton & Dr Ash have been very helpful to me recently and also Dr Betts whom I don’t seem to speak to as much anymore but in the past I have . Dr Pace too has been amazing over the years. Dr Groom has been amazing with my parents, very patient and thorough which is what they need !! Please carry on doing what you are doing, we understand you are under a huge amount of pressure and we appreciate everything- I especially have been demanding of you all since I had my children and your help is so appreciated I wish I could do something back …..we are incredibly lucky to have the nhs … thank you again Lucy Hollebon & Pat And Mike Hockey
