Batheaston Medical Centre

Batheaston medical centre is by far the best medical centre I have ever used. The quality of care from the doctors has been outstanding for me and my family over the last 15 years. We feel privalged to have such a practice on our doorstep. A massive thank you to all the doctors and staff.

A lovely surgery, very helpful reception staff and great at getting you seen by one of the understanding doctors. You don't feel like just a number and the phone actually gets answered! Please keep up the good work, we are grateful.

As a fairly new patient to this practice, I have been impressed by the care, knowledge and understanding of doctors and other staff when I have needed treatment. Help has always been available and response has been prompt.

I haven’t had any problems getting appointments at the practice and have found all the staff helpful and efficient! There are long waits at busy times so my only suggestion is for some quiet soothing music and some literature in the waiting room would help the tense and sterile atmosphere whilst having a long wait! Well done keep up the good work!

The most helpful and kind practice ive ever been part of- and I have moved around the country! Brilliant care for my children, myself and baby. Easy to park, staff are lovely and punctual appointments!

After days closed due to Christmas, I finally managed to book an appointment at the GP. I’ve been feeling unwell for 4 days but as it’s not an emergency I can’t go to the ED at the hospital, so just had to wait the GP to reopen. After waiting an hour, the receptionist just came to the waiting room and told us the doctor was dealing with an emergency. Honestly, after an hour we’ve been notified? An hour? There were only 3 people in the waiting room including me, not even full, but we were just expecting a bit more respect. Been notified after an hour was such a disrespectful behaviour from them. Turns out I just went to Boots, which has also been closed a few days for Christmas. That’s shocking for me! I’ve never seen the medical industry having so many days off! That’s why NHS is one of the WORST health systems in the world nowadays. Shame!!! The impression I have is that they’ve been trained to only prescribe paracetamol btw. Shame.
