I have been attending this practice for around 10 years or more. The vets and nurses and assistants and reception staff are all incredible. We have met all the vets and all the nurses and all the reception staff as we seem to be there regularly!
Recently our 17 year old cat was seriously ill and we ended up having to put him to sleep. We were all devastated. Firstly one of the vets called me to go through things and make me feel better about the decision to euthanise. When we took him in the vet that saw us explained everything. My daughter is autistic and she was distraught but wanted to be there with our cat. The vet made sure that she understood what was going to happen and told us exactly what he was doing and what he was going to do. He even brought in a comfy blanket for him to lay on. After he arranged cremation for us and explained that they would call us when he returned.
When we went to collect the ashes I got a lovely hug from one of the receptionists. They even wrote a card and collected a bit of his fur for us and got his paw prints. I can’t thank them enough for their compassion and care.
They’ve repaired one of my other cats cruciate ligaments in her 2 back legs also. Again they were so helpful and kind and just really thorough.
I highly recommend this vet practice. They do as much as they possibly can and truly care about your animals health.

Been with barton vets over 2 years niw. My very first few months wasn't best experience but this year I can't fault them for anything. My dog is severly epileptic, we see vet on average every 2-3 months . Very sympathetic team . lilly is very nervous going to vets but team making everything to make it as smooth as possible. Had numerous consultations regarding her medications, emergency visits including eye treatment, broken nails, parasite . Swapped my prescription without issues when couldn't get essential drug online. It all makes massive difference when u have to deal with difficult condition on regular basis. Thank you

Barton vets are fantastic. All the staff are kind, patient and very knowledgeable. Phillepe in particular has been brilliant at managing my dog’s complex, long term condition. Many thanks to all of the staff.

We phoned last week for a quick appointment for our Springer, who seemed to be suffering from the heat. We were seen that morning and the vet examined her carefully. He reassured us that she should be okay with plenty of rest and care. The quick service was much appreciated. Thank you.

I have had to visit Barton Veterinary Centre a few times now and have always found the recertion staff very helpful and polite. The vets are very good and very thorough too, really seem to have the animals.best interests at heart,.which is quite rare now a day's as a lot of places unfortunately are all about the money and the animals are just a way of making them that. Would definitely recommend Barton Vets

Really good vets, took great care of my baby during and after operation. Like all vets, they are pricey, hence the 4 stars. I've been using this vet practice for the past 20 or so years and am very happy with their service.

I went to Barton vets for the first time a week ago with my Brussels Griffon. I called in the afternoon and explained the situation over the phone and they managed to get me in on the same day. Everyone was super friendly, caring and understanding. Winston was super nervous but the vet who we saw was very gentle and didn’t push him. I’ll definitely be making Barton vets my go to from now on.
