Repeatedly impressed by this surgery.
Today, they fit me in very quickly (within an hour of initial call) and I saw Sister Emma Collins who was so kind and warm, made me feel really comfortable and relaxed.
I’ve also had really good experiences with Dr Shilton and Dr Slack who have always made me feel listened to.

The best practice I’ve been too, recently moved into area. Used GP a few times for myself and family. Every time called back or seen same day. Always friendly and helpful. Receptionist always answer quickly and always take good details of needs and obviously can do their very job well as GPS always call me back and have good initial information from receptionist. Thank you all very much.

Excellent experience of using online service at Barton. Requested some new medications for a relative using online query and received a message two days later to say it had been issued and collected later from the pharmacy. Thank you very much.

This one star is for the worst doctor , Dr Okoye. Worst Gp in the world. I asked for a referral letter and had waited four hours in the waiting room I suddenly got a call from hospital and had to go outside to speak. The doctor came arrogantly and was very harsh to my father. He wrote the worst referral ever ,complained about me and about his day in the referral . Degraded me as much as he could in my referral, even though he has never seen me In person .
My Gp wasn’t in on that day so another GP which was Dr okoye unfortunately had to do it for me. Which I wish to God he hadn't, he wrote as many bad things and lies as he could about me without even having seen me.

I have no idea how he has managed to become a doctor with his poor communication skills . Which medical school has given him a degree is beyond me.
I don’t know about his medical knowledge but the first thing they teach you at medical school is patient centered care and respectful manner. As a person, he is an awful man.

Really broken hearted by him. First time writing a review only because how badly he treated my father, myself and had left the hospital speechless.
If you want to be embarrassed and degraded see this man. My referral got rejected by the hospital because the referral was unprofessional and unacceptable.
I missed my urgent appointment because of this rude , impolite arrogant doctor. He is a shame to the medical world.

Dr Roberts and everyone else at the GP is absolutely lovely and very sweet. Very kind secretaries . Dr Roberts is an absolute sweetheart, awesome caring doctor and an amazing person. On the other hand Dr okeye is a disaster , absolute disaster to this practice. He should be ashamed.

I would like to thank you as on 2 occasions last week, there were problems with availability of items.in my prescription.. On both of these, your reception staff took them on and resolved both.

I am perplexed that preventative and primary health care are not prioritised here. Firstly, you have to discuss your health concerns with a receptionist who determines if you will or won't speak to a GP. It is not the receptionists' fault but they often misunderstand because they are asked to do something outside the scope of their role. Then if you dare ask to have a consultation with a GP who you have dealt with before you receive hostility, wait over a month for an appointment and then more hostility. It shouldn't be this complicated.

Consistently friendly and helpful staff, from administrators to doctors. Good range of facilities provided for a local village surgery. I've never failed to get an appointment on the same day as long as I've been on the phone at 8!

Always get call back, no straight forward appointment in person as you would expect a drs surgery to offer
