Cherry Trees is a wonderful Care Home with a caring, kind and happy team to look after the residents. My Mum has been there for 2 years now and we have never doubted that decision. There are too many carers, nurses and staff to mention all those that deserve this, all of them do. They provide interesting, fun activities most days. Highly recommended.

The most beautiful residential home. My son has had the pleasure of volunteering at Cherry Trees for the past 18 months helping with poetry readings, Bingo, Music sessions and afternoon teas with residents. On occasion I have also been invited into this lovely place. The place is immaculate and like a 5 star hotel in every way. At the same time it maintains a wonderful homely feel to it. The staff seem more like family to the residents. The residents I have met seem so well looked after and happy. I have told my son that I hope that him volunteering at Cherry Trees means that when my time comes I can be fast tracked to the front of the waiting list for a room there 😂as Cherry Trees is the kind of place that every elderly person should have the opportunity to live - with fantastic care and respect.

My mom is a resident at Cherry Trees and I would just like to thank all the staff for their incredible love and support to not only my mother but to us as a family, the home feels just that, it's a real home with carers that care. She is constantly on the go and has more of a social life than I do! Always an activity going on and plenty for her to do. She says the food is delicious and I'm often jealous of the meals she tells me she's had. Clean and tidy with a beautiful view of the gardens. Thank you Cherry Trees for looking after her so well! I very much recommend this home!!

Fantastic care and support to my nan. She is so happy and well looked after and is treated with dignity by all of the staff. I am so extremely grateful for the way all the staff have been so welcoming and caring. So many lovely amenities, including a spacious cafe, an enclosed courtyard garden, big beautiful back gardens all carefully landscaped with amazing views. Tastefully decorated, and not to mention how incredible the activities staff are with such a varied programme of stimulating activities and a vibrant atmosphere, she has become so sociable and whenever I ring or visit I can always find her busy playing games, watching live performances you name it! Management are very friendly and extremely accommodating and I couldn't wish for anything better for my beautiful Nan! Thank you cherry trees!!

We recently linked up to do a virtual reading session, through Zoom, for the residents of the Cherry Trees - it was a great opportunity for our students and was enjoyed by everybody. We are looking forward to linking up again sometime.

My Dad has been up on Memory Lane at Cherry Trees for just over a year, having been moved from a care home in Cornwall. Getting Cornwall council to agree that he should be near his family proved to be far more challenging than we ever imagined but Debbie was available to support us at the many multi disciplinary meetings that it took to get this done. We were told that his behaviour was too challenging for Cherry Trees to cope with and that the journey alone would shorten his life. I am pleased to say that not only he is still with us but that he is thriving, as much as he can with advanced dementia, under their exemplary care. There have been no issues with any challenging behaviour and as a non-clinical end of life care trainer myself I know what great care looks like. Cherry Trees is it. There are activities every day and the team do their absolute best for the residents and their families . I am always made to feel like I am part of the Cherry Trees team every time I go.

I was asked to perform an online show for the residents at Cherry Tree Court to celebrate a birthday.  Due to the restrictions in place because of the pandemic, in person entertainment is not currently permitted but I was very impressed by how the home had embraced technology to enable me to perform and make the day special for the residents.   We had a lovely hour together and everyone really enjoyed themselves.  I hope to sing for them again, maybe in person as and when it is safe to do so.

My father has been living here for a few weeks now and has settled in very well. The loving care and happy attitude of the staff really is a bonus. My Dad seems to be enjoying the attention. He is very well cared for and very well fed. We are all very happy with his care.thank you
