This is the perfect place for retirement. The care is second to none. The staff are professional and kind. Efficiently run , the residents genuinely love the place and as for the food (especially the homemade scones!) all prepared in house freshly. This is a gem of a place, clean and comfortable and caring.

Visited Chater Lodge care home with our amazing birds of prey and were made very welcome by both residents and all the staff. The care home is very nice and a lovely homely feeling to it. All the residents we saw were very well cared for and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the birds fly and handling them. We were outside in the beautiful garden area. We’ve had such a wonderful morning today visiting Mum and seeing the lambs. Chater Lodge has such amazing, stimulating activities for the whole family to join in. It was lovely to see so many of the residents engaged and enjoying the experience.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Chater Lodge. Mandy and Anna and their teams welcomed my father into the home and made him very comfortable. Every visit I made the staff were cheerful, friendly and informative.
I knew the staff were doing all they could and they communicated with me when necessary.
I am happy to recommend.

Having visited almost all the care homes in the Stamford area, Chater Lodge felt the most homely, cheerful and caring with a welcoming atmosphere. My Uncle is currently residing here and he loves it. All the staff from the Manager to the gardening guys, are warm, caring, understanding and very professional. Always have a smile and time to listen to other residents and their needs and chat to us visitors. The meals are apparently wonderful (especially the cooked breakfast) so I am told by my Uncle. The outside garden and patio areas are well kept with lovely hanging baskets and plants, and are enjoyed by many of the residents and visitors alike. Definitely was the right decision for my Uncle's needs and care requirements and I would recommend this Care Home

I visited this care home twice to entertain the residents.
All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring I have Everything I need abs made to feel welcome.
During my performance the staff are always engaging with the residents, singing and dancing along and encouraging them to join in. It makes for such a wonderful experience.
