Professional and efficient service from first phone call (pleasant reception staff) to appointment. All of the staff are helpful and friendly.
My GP is Dr. Wood. Absolutely brilliant. She listens carefully to your medical issues. Referred me straight away twice for hospital assessments. Also called me back a few times to discuss issues.

I have been with the Balance Street Practice since moving to Uttoxeter in 1986 with my wife and family. I can honestly say that we all have all received first class service from the staff and many Doctor's we've seen over the years. My current G.P., Dr. Day carries on that tradition.Thank you.

From personal experience, all medical help or advice when needed has been fantastic. Reception is always snowed under coping with volumes of response, always with care and very professional conduct. Practice Nurses are excellent. Doctors are outstanding and Dr Emma Wood is a lifesaver. Caring, creative and thinking. Truly a great practice coping with inadequate NHS fees, now saddled with energy costs, and NHS admin meddling. They are under constant pressure, be grateful we have them. Whiners and malingerers pay what? A damned good practice. Pharmacy too. Teams, you're great, be Proud. I've had 20 years of good support. My family too. 5 stars and accolades to all.

Past experiences with the surgery were perfect they couldn't do more but within the last year its gone down.
Firstly tell the receptionist what your going for which feels wrong given none of them are medical staff.
If it's bad(ish) you will get a lucky dip doctor usually one has never seen you before, or a advanced practice nurse who will fob you off and send you on your way feeling none the better.
Is this the future of general practice god help us.
The practice manager used to be a receptionist and I just have no faith in them.

Not good at all. Called at 8 o'clock in the morning asking for a call back and they called me back at 2 o'clock to say a doctor was going to call me between 3 and 5:30
I called back and asked what was going on after waiting at home for a phone call all day for them to say we will call tomorrow afternoon. Been at this doctor all my life and have struggled with undiagnosed mental health issues that have only been sorted at 24 after being referred to mental health team by someone else I was diagnosed with ADHD. I have been suffering my whole life and had great difficulty in school and with my whole life. I've known a lot of people to complain about this place.
