Took my son to the walk in clinic yesterday as was concerned about his respiration. Yes there was understandably a wait to be seen and then again after for medication, but my son was seen by a lovely doctor and we left with the medication to hopefully treat his chest infection. Thank you to all, very appreciated.

Receptionists gate keep and often refuse to book in an appointment. Repeat prescriptions take over two weeks to be filled and almost every month I run out of medication. I was refused a COVID booster while heavily pregnant because the ‘system’ said I wasn’t pregnant. It takes six weeks to get a telephone appointment and if that isn’t acceptable to the patient they are told to go to urgent care or A&E.

Staff took ten months to add my records to their system after I registered as a new patient and the records they added were inaccurate, included stuff that clearly pertained to a different patient, didn’t record the birth of my first child, and had the wrong details relating to the birth of my second. Incompetent and negligent. This practice should be forced to close.

When we decided to take out private insurance due to the incompetence of the surgery and lack of patient care, they decided to charge extortionate rates for filling in basic paperwork and provided a lead time of 4-6 weeks for urgent forms. Each time we’ve needed private insurance paperwork the price has shot up. It’s as if they pluck a figure out of thin air. It’s extortion. The last time we were charged £60 for a document that had inaccurate information on it and they refused to correct it or refund what we paid.

Although, they are busy and communication can be a bit frustrating the service and medical experience is excellent. The Consultant Nurses need a particular mention for their thoroughness and focus. Everyone is friendly and professional. Thanks we are lucky to have you.

I an beginning to think that the phone gets switched off during the day. I have honestly been on the phone all day trying to make an appointment. The phone just rings and and rings. At one point I was No2 in the queue for 47 mins. How is that possible? And don't you dare complain - you get told that we should understand that they are very busy - so seriously employ more receptionists!

Will conveniently call you when it suits them, but God forbid you try to contact them for anything. Will be changing doctors AGAIN at this rate if they continue the incredulously bad service.

Medication mishaps, incorrectly charged for prescriptions and demanded we return to be charged more, receptionists who have no clue what they’re doing. List goes on, and it’s a shame because the actual doctors I’ve seen have been good. Rest of the practice let’s it down.

Myself and my partner have recently been using this practise since moving to the area from another local practise.

When ordering my first prescription, was told via text it was ready to collect, but in actual fact when I went to collect it had gone to the Durrington one and I’d need to visit again later to collect from Upavon.

Ordered my next repeat prescription through the app, and after not hearing anything for at least 7 days visited to collect them, only to be told they didn’t have them in stock and I’d need to go to another pharmacy.
No text message or courtesy contact to let me know - a good job it wasn’t vital medication!

In the same visit collected my partners medication.
We were given the wrong prescription and then incorrectly charged.
Were later called while on holiday in France (which we explained) to be told we MUST visit this afternoon to pay the difference!

Receptionist is useless (apparently new) and don’t even bother trying to call them as the phone lines seem shut!

So easy to collect prescribed medication.
But have suffered a terrible appointment mess up. Made an appointment for a medication review but was given a check up by the nurse instead. Result was running out of medication. Next available appointment 3.5 weeks later, telephone only.
