My husband moved into this Care Home with rapid young-onset dementia. The care he (and I) have received is outstanding. All of the staff are professional, friendly and cheerful, and always make time to chat through any concerns. The Home has a lovely feel as soon as you walk in, like a hotel with care provided! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

I've had two members of family stay at Avon Valley at different times. It was initially chosen due to the cleanliness, friendliness and attention to detail. We haven't been disappointed.

Staff are all caring and helpful. They get to know their residents individually and put their welfare first. There is a constant offer of activities and delicious food throughout the week. They also offer occasional outings to the residents which is lovely to see on their social media when loved ones are not living close by.

We're very pleased with this home and appreciate all the staff have done for our family ❤️

I have visited quite a few times since my auntie has moved in here, all staff I have come across have been lovely and friendly, the rooms are lovely and spacious, we have visited over lunch times and they always have a lovely menu on for the residents, in the summer we have sat out in the garden area which is also really nice. Also there is a little coffee area when we arrive so always take a coffee in with us. I would highly recommend this care home! My auntie is happy here and well cared for. Keep doing a great job!

I came to visit Avon valley a few times and every time a friendly receptionist greeted me. I really enjoyed sitting in the downstairs coffee area, interestingly a lot of resident use it as well, so its nice that its not only for visitors. I really like how the home looks from the outside, its on a slight hill and the management keep the home looking nice and clean, inside and out. Staff are friendly and do a lot of fun activities themselves involving the residents.

I visited a neighbour who had just moved from one care home to Avon valley care home this was about 3 1/2 years ago. My first impressions was wow this is lovely! The staff made me feel very welcome and the care I saw was 5*. Being a carer myself and working in another care home I was taking note and I was so happy there I applied for a job there and got it.
I can honestly say I love it here. Working through COVID was hard but we’re all stuck together and as always went above and beyond to make sure all are residents and staff were all ok!
The staff all work well as a team and when under pressure.
I recently left the role and had a different role as I did not want to leave the company as I feel welcome,
appreciate and loved by all x

My father always said he would not go to a Care Home. He has just spent two and a half weeks at Avon Valley for Respite and really loved it. He said he will only go there in the future and no where else. The staff were professional, very pleasant and my father said he thought well trained. He said the food was very good and I could see that the home was very clean and the facilities excellent. I had no worries leaving Dad with such a professional team and I would recommend Avon Valley to anyone looking for Respite or full time care for their relatives.

The home was clean and tidy and the staff team were cheerful, friendly and professional. The residents were clearly enjoying the homemade cakes in the café area and were glad to see some Spring sunshine coming through the windows. Thanks for making my time with you so enjoyable.

I reluctantly moved mum here in 2020, shortly before Covid struck. Everything seemed to be going ok. I didn’t know what to look for in a care home as I’d had no experience of them. Mum’s dementia has advanced as suspected after years of suffering. Avon Valley have decided they can’t meet her needs and have asked for her to move on. Don’t be fooled by the nice furnishings, this won’t necessarily be a forever home for your loved one.
