This store is a sad reflection on what it used to be before it was taken over. Yes it is a good large shop with a great range of amenities within including an online click and collect unit, a pharmacy, a bureau de change, a postbox, a cafe and all relevant fresh counters but what it lacks is any form of value. Everything is 10, 20, 30p or more expensive than other supermarkets. It may not sound much but it certainly all adds up. Even the petrol at the onsite petrol station was around 7p per litre more expensive than the average around the area and they don't even have staff or a little shop to cover the cost of as all pumps are pay at pump only.
A huge disappointment to me were the toilets. They were among the worst public toilets I have been to in a very long time. The toilet seats were broken, the cubicle locks were broken, they were filthy and even for someone like me who doesn't have a great sense of smell they stank.
The one saving grace for this store was the staff. They were brilliant. Very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Although there didn't seem to be too many around the second I needed help there were there. If it wasn't for them the rating would certainly be lower.

Have to mention a lovely gentleman called Paul who was filling shelves on the meat isle. I asked him if he had any fillet steaks in his trolley as there was none on the shelves, he said he didn’t. I carried on shopping and was about 3 isles way, when Paul came and tracked me down and said he had found some. Absolutely amazing customer service. I would just like him to get some recognition for amazing customer service

Aisles far too busy when pushing wheelchair. Got all groceries went for lunch in the cafe. Tables were dirty asked if someone would wipe clean it never got done. I ordered Jacket potato with beans, the potato was obviously reheated but cooked far too long to begin with and the beans were warm, overall disappointed.

Always very nice to shop here with vast stock and usually shelves stocked with plenty of room between isles when using a wheelchair it’s vital important. Downside is it’s Pharmacy as they are so short staffed you have a long wait and they were hopeless letting us know when our medication would arrive then only half came after going back twice as first time they hadn’t ordered any . Hoping this time not to have any issues . I amend as needed next week
